Watching Welcome to India on bbc2. Amazing crazy country.

Brilliant programme, watched it last week too, really well made, fascinating.

Watching the architecture prize programme on bbc2 now, drinking me beer and finishing me spliff and bed by half ten...finding it hard getting up i the mornings now its dark and foggy/misty/rainy.

Might watch some "Blue Planet". theres some proper weird stuff under the sea, very facinating freaky weird shit

Don't worry about Romney. The way the system works, it doesn't matter who is in power, they are just managing capitalism, and it has to be managed in a certain way, to suit those with money, otherwise they won't get their funding and kickbacks. There are very few decisions they can actually take that aren't dictated to them. Different face and party colours, same old shite.

Just watching Cameron's speech at the Conference.

He's fucking good. All rhetoric and hollow promises, but I can see people voting for someone like him over Miliband.

Not that i think it makes a scrap of difference, and I will no longer vote in general elections.

Blue planet is amazing, the deep is my fav ep! All those weird creatures with their bioluminescence (sp?)

I don't vote in general elections, partly out of apathy & partly because not one of them deserves my vote.

I reckon I might vote for Scottish independence though, which is a complete turnaround on my previous stance. Purely to be free from the tories forever.

Cannae wait for Scottish independence. A big fuckin keysies fae the Tories. Keys up, keys doon, magic circle aw aroon. Cannae touch us.

If you don't know what keysies means, well... I'm not going to explain it lol.

There are plenty Scottish Tories, and plenty Scottish Tory voters, or certainly plenty Scots who will vote for a Tory party by another name.

The accents and the family trees will be a wee bit different, I suppose, although Scotland is riddled with nobility. They hide away in wee villages in the countryside.

Then there's Trump and people like him, how much of Scotland does he own now?

Scotland has more giant pandas than Tory MPs.

Mon Independence! You better not be a Tory knock!

I just want independence from David Cameron & his fucking obvious rich get richer poor get poorer shite. Not that I'm saying a Scottish government would be any better but at least they couldn't be worse. It would be interesting at least, to see what happens. We might fuck it all up big time, I don't really care though, I won't be here for that long & fuck future generations. I hate most of the cunts in this country just now, why would I care about the ones here after I'm gone?

Plus the war with England will be a belter. Fuckin' come ahead ya dafties!!!!!!

VOTE B'STARD!

Up until a few month's ago, I pretty much echoed your stance

Now however, I'm definitely gonna be voting Labour.

Mainly motivated by the fact that just as you thought it didn't make a difference who gets through, the Tories then announce another policy proposal that's just so fucking out there, it's got to be a joke. And they'll do their best to get it passed through within 6 months, which is also ludicrous .. theyre doing this thick and fast now, and there's a much bigger policy difference between Labour and Tory forming now.

It comes to the point where it's just too dangerous to leave the Tories in because some of their current ideas are fucking scary

What will happen when we force the English out the country, are we going to have to hand back our British passports in exchange for a Scottish one? British passport holders have it pretty damn good, we don't have any problems going most places in the world and get to stay for a decent amount of time in a lot of countries...will it be the same for Scotland, especially soon as we go indie...might take time to get sorted out. Hmmm. :sus:

Aye, I don't really understand the details of everything (I don't think anyone does). I'll need to actually look into this all properly before the referendum because normally you're just voting for a different set of liars to run the country & it doesn't affect cunts like me too much but going full-on independent is far more serious.

Get the claymores sharpened boys. These cunts are getting it. Mind we've got a hold of the nuclear subs an all. They'll be getting bumped. England are fucked when this war kicks off.

Yeah it needs a bit of research but on the surface I'm for it, just not the joining the Euro part and putting the price of booze up but that might be getting scrapped apparently due to some European law over ruling it. Didn't catch the full story. Bumping up the price of booze is no way to win over a Scotsman like.

Subs, oil and whisky mate. Sorted.

there's a much bigger policy difference between Labour and Tory forming now.

Labour aren't in government, if you can see a policy difference it's because the Tories are having to respond to economic forces, while the only forces Labour have to respond to are the press and the "public mood". They can say anything they like, but they can't do them. And then when/if they get into power, they have the same books to balance and the same pressures the tories have.

What policy differences are they touting? I haven't been following the press too closely in the last couple of weeks, I admit.

Aye and how did the TV thread become the politics thread? I don't think we're allowed a politics thread, MSB saw to that.
