Can't believe all the FRIENDS haters, it is a show that will continue to be funny no matter how many times you watch it, I probably know every episode in my head and know what jokes are coming but I still laugh, still find it funny. It is more of a comfortable comedy, something to have on in the background. I love FRIENDS and can't imagine ever stopping laughing at the same jokes.

Me too.

aaaaaaaaammmmaaazzziiing!!!!!!!!!!

so chuffed, tim timebombs rocknroll theatre is here! its tim armstrong from rancid, with lars frederikson and davey havok.

ps this is an in joke for ppl like me who remember rancid and AFI from their youth and still love em. but still, amazing. was thinking about going for a mates bday drinks but fuck that. beer, spliff and musical theatre.

Upon iplayer I recently watched the Faster than the speed of light doc, which was very good. Just a bit annoying that they have to go over the slightly more "layman" science but I guess it's a given.
And, Holy Flying Circus - Fucking brilliant :D I was skeptical but it turned out to be absolutely well funny ^_^
Highly advised ;)

is faster than the speed of light based on the book of the same name? really enjoyed said book. basically a new theory which allowed faster than light speeds at an early stage of the universe iirc, and solved loads of cosmological problems as a result.

so far the rocknroll theatre is very silly but a lot of fun.

Noooo you silly duck ;) It's a documentary about the Neutrinos detected by OPRERA in Italy that apparently went faster than the speed of light. Lots of theories gone through and stuff. Really interesting :) I'm sure you'll love it.

And for some reason completely unknown to me I remember Rancid..... Why on earth do I know who they are? =D

aaaahhhhh... mad, i honetsly didn't know you could even make a documentary in the time since then! cool.

rancid were one of the few well known punk bands from about a decade ago, so if you remotely were in terested in alternative music in high school days you'd have come across them. and rightly so, awesome. been reminicsing about college days to their 'to the end of hte east bay' recently.

Yea it's been surprisingly quick to get out a doc ay? Good though :) It's got that right cool mathematician (Marcus Du Satoy or something) presenting it too.

Ah yes! I remember now. I was never into their stuff when I was listening to Punk and such though. I know, I'm rubbish Chinny ;) =D

cool. he wrote an awesome book called the music of the primes about one of the craziest things i've ever come across: possible links between number theory and quantum chaos.

well i'm rubbish about your music too. rancid are a happy memories band for me, but i do also think they're genuinely good.

Oh cool :) I remember hearing of that but have never read it.

And we must try harder to educate each other in our respective musical tastes =D You did well last time I came round :) Though I have saturated you with my musical choices far too much - We need to address this balance ;)

well i would recommend it, good read.

cool. i do think i'm a bit silly for being so narrow minded about music, so should learn abut yours. i usually try not to push my music on ppl too much as i know most don't like it. which is fine, i love it!

back on tv, the link to that show fucked up. rubbish.

Ace - I'll do a book-swap session with you and give you "Watching The English" in return :)
I really love to share the music I love with people... I dunno... I suppose it's another one of those human nature things.
And exactly, if you love it then that's all that matters innit :)
But yes - Back on the Telly stuff topic lol. The Hurt Locker is on Ch4 now.

all about the X factor in my house.tonite was rock nite but fcuk me most of the acts did a poor attempt at rock.

the girl from manchester Misha has a great voice and some talent but the rest .............................

Breaking Bad - Can't recommend this enough! Absolutely brilliant, a must-see. The fourth season has just finished, with one to go.

It's always sunny in Philadelphia - definitely isn't as funny as it used to be, but still worth investing your time in it. The first 2 seasons are comedy genius.

To me it's comedy for people who don't actually like comedy. Kind of the same as Coldplay being music for people who don't like music.

It is truly dreadful.

As they'd say daaan saaaaaf - Oh my days!
If you've never seen this, it's Charlie Sheen at his best. And it's on at 7:20pm on Film4:

It's been a childhood favourite of mine for soooo many years. Used to have it on VHS but it was lost in the sands of time.
Honestly, it's fucking quality ^_^
