disagree, family guy season 11 is brilliant,

need to start on American dad, seen season 1 and a few newer episodes but thats it

Don't you find they are basically just recycling the same material? They ran out of ideas at least 3 seasons ago. American Dad is way way better, especially after season 1 when Roger starts leaving the house.

I might check out american dad, I just assumed it was like family guy and thus avoided it

anyone seen the other spin off

Family Guy is shite. Liked it when it first came out (probably because I was about 14) but I couldn't even watch an episode of it these days.

Just finished off watching Homeland, I thought it was quite good but seemed to drag on a bit and there wasn't really enough of a storyline to justify a lot of the episodes. Need something new to stuck into, anybody have any suggestions?

It's probably already been mentioned, in fact, I shall be very suprised and a little upset if it hasn't (I don't check is thread that often so don't know, although I will from now on as I will probably find some damn good TV) anyway, my recommendation is Sparticus on Sky 1 and Sky 1 HD on a Monday night at 22:00. It's the third series technically at the moment but it is well worth getting the last two series on DVD and watching them all between now and Monday to catch yourselves up with the series. There is fighting with fantastic gore and effects, a great story line that twists and turns in so many different directions it's a challenge to keep up (in a positive way) and beautiful woman taking their clothes off all of the time.... What more do I want from a TV show?

On a totally different type of TVnow. I watched a show on Sky 1 last night called 'Obese - A Year to Save My Life' Now normally I hate these types of program and I in turn find myself hating the fat bastard trying to lose weight. Generally speaking the large people in ese type of shows moan and wine about how hard done by they are and that they try everything but just can't shift the weight and that mentality annoys me. Is guy however really wanted it, struggled and worked his heart out to lose, what I think was 10 stone. A really hard working bloke who wanted to do what he had asked help for and it was refreshing to watch.

Aye I tried to watch it once, it just seemed like tits and fighting with a boring storyline tying it together. A couple of my pals think it's brilliant but they're tastes in films and tv are god awful.

I said the exact same thing about Homeland. Don't get me wrong, if I could go back and unwatch it I wouldn't, I just wish it was a film instead! How the fuck they are going to milk another season out of it, I do not know. I find their soundtrack really out of place and ill fitting, do you?

In terms of recommendations, I just finished 'The Booth at the End'. It's awesome. It is a series of clips that were released online all pieced together (the 2nd episode onwards doesn't thread the credits together). Other than that i've just started Southland and that's good. The Walking Dead is dog shit at the moment, but i've heard it's about to kick off biiiiggggg time.
I'm not sure how they will make another season out of it, something really major would need to happen for me to be interested. A lot of it seemed really predictable as well, I was expecting a huge twist but the last episode was a bit disappointing. Never really noticed the soundtrack thing to be honest.

The Walking Dead is definitely getting stale, I seem to like the characters less and less as the story progresses and begin to care less whether they survive or not haha. I'll give this Booth at the end thing a watch, it sounds quite interesting. Eastbound and Down is back on which is quite funny, Kenny Powers is the fucking man!

I've never watched it, is it good?

I am, or was, getting really pissed off with The Walking Dead. If you want to get enthused with it again, like you were in the first season, then read this: (Contains spoilers!)

NSFW:
Those guys Rick killed were escaped convicts, from a prison that tons of inmates both zombie and living had escaped from. There is going to be some sort of huge war, with tons of moving about again all over the place, with loads of new fresh characters. We are also going to lose a lot of characters at the end of this season/start of next season who have become 'unkillable'. That means anyone's on the table from Rick to Shane to Laurie :D. According to the people who are well into the comics this is based on, the farm part is important because it is their reference point for when things were good, but the TV show just stretched it out because it was cheaper to film on that one set! They had intended to do an episode on the fall of New Orleans.

I really love the walking dead comic series and the TV version is good too, it is dragging at the moment but I think the writers can salvage it considering the amount of source material available. I think this season has been hit an miss, hopefully they can pull off a better third one.

I'm buzzing for the fifth an final breaking bad, it's my fave show along with the wire. It's just gotten better and the final series is gonna go down in history I reckon.

Looks like what could be an interesting series starting on the Quest channel tonight 'Couples That Kill'.
I've always found these true crime programmes interesting so am looking forward to this series.
Think it starts at 9pm if anyone interested in that type of thing.
