Tonight & it's been on all week.
Midnight on really (freeview 17) 101 more things removed from the human body.

Steak knife to the skull & tree stump through the back & exited by the belly button were some of the ones that stick in the mind.
Full wax crayon in the nose was quite impressive also.

Has it got the dining fork in urethra guy?

her highly strung-ness pisses me off. she pissed me off in Deadwood as well

Lydia is all highly strung but doesnt annoy me at all

^Seriously? I can't stand Lydia, I just want to strangle her every time she talks haha.

Have actually really been enjoying Skyler recently
(nsfw for very small BB spoiler)
NSFW:
Ever since Walt has turned into a complete asshole I'm actually rooting for her way more than him. She's chilled out on the hysterical front I think.

I want Walt to go full retard and kill his entire family plus Hank and that bitch who plays his wife. Just her face annoys the fuck out of me, even the way she breathes.

America's Stoned Kids
Today 21:10 BBC Two
Sounds like BS but will stick it on the sky plus
Duration: 1 hour

In November last year the American state of Colorado voted to legalise the recreational use of cannabis. It is the most radical experiment in drugs policy for generations and the world will be looking to see what happens, particularly to drug use amongst teenagers. In this hour long documentary for This World, clinical psychologist and addiction expert Professor John Marsden heads to Denver, the state capital, to assess the likely impact of legalisation on a country already suffering an epidemic of teenage marijuana use.

On Skyler, I cannot stand the woman either... Breaking Bad actually has no central female characters with any susbtance to them, they are all their as foils to the male leads - if you compare the female characters / roles in BB to the very central, strong well written female characters of the Sopranos (Carmela, Meadow, Adrienne) and even the Wire (Riggs / Snoop / Omars crew) then BB comes off looking pretty bad. To be frank BB's cast is relatively poor in general bar the central characters - it doesn't compare to either the Sopranos or the Wire which both have a huge number of well drawn characters that we become invested in over time.

I love Breaking Bad but because of the reasons above I think that over time it will be regarded as being in the second tier of great televsion as it is plainly not a par with those two shows

Not: The female character aspect was pointed out by an article I read recently in the Guardian - http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/aug/13/breaking-bad-no-real-women

Recent watchings have included first season of Treme (enjoyable but not mindblowing - got second season here too but don't feel a massive pull to crack straight into it yet... will watch it cos is not shite... but nowt Earth-shattering either) and third season of Game of Thrones (not a great season - problem with so many subplots going on at once is that it takes a whole season to remind you of wha' gwarnin and by the time you've done all that it's the end of the season and very little has actually happened :\).

Just started watching Sons of Anarchy. Not heard of it before but watched summat 'bout biker gangs recently that mentioned it and sounded decent so acquired the first season. Can't say I've been blown away so far but am only a few episodes in and seems to be gradually picking up. Not expecting a masterpiece by any means cos it clearly isn't. Looks like it might be watchable enough though so will at least give it until the end of the first season.

^ooo keep us updated on what you think of Sons Of Anarchy. I also acquired it some time back but have never tried it out.

Plus the busyness of GoT is something I really liked about it. As there are so many characters none of them get stale at all. I know what you mean about the storylines not progressing much, there are so many that they can't have as much airtime to get things done. Still the fact there's a lot going on makes up for it imo and what they do squeeze in makes it fast paced.

Yes she used to piss me off but I suppose that's all part of the drama, every "hero" needs a foil.

Yeah exactly, and in the end I'm pretty sure most people only hate her cuz she stands up to Walt...which seems like a pretty normal thing when you think about it :D
