Same same, PTCH. Everything you said about private trackers I get just fine on public ones, CK. My copy of The Hobbit was DVD quality and out virtually the day it came out at the cinema. Very occaisonally there'll be summat obscure that's hard to track down but can't think of owt I've never managed to get a hold of sooner or later on public trackers. Besides, most private trackers are included in stuff from public places anyway. Only ever found a tiny handful of properly obscure ones that don't also seed exactly the same files to the usual suspects. Also, never had a shonky file from any torrent site. Maybe just luck on that one though. Seriously do not see the point of 'em. Do my fukkin nut in with their pernickity rules. It's not always possible to keep a perfect 1:1 ratio unless you d/l a load of utter dross just cos it's popular to keep your ratios up. Is why I stopped bothering with 'em tbh. Elitest wankers.

"Secrets of the Pickpockets" just starting on CH 4 now, for some reason interests me.
 
Aye well to be fair thebox and torrentday are 2 of the biggest ones, kinda like how demonoid was, and even if noones leeching off you on TD you still get bonus points per hour per torrent which you can trade for upload credit, pretty simple, and the selection i've got off there has been great + never had any problems with uploading (Uploaded: 707.224 GB Downloaded: 35.017 GB =D). True enough though for 90% of people they'd just be irritating with all the rules on most sites, my dads an NHL addict and i've never seen the games to download easily available on a public tracker apart from the occasional 1 or 2, so the private trackers been a godsend for him. You're right though the rules on some sites are just irritating and you can generally get what you need from tpb etc.

Has there been any decent new nature shows recently? Finished watching a old David Attenborough series the other day and forgot how much i liked em
 
New David Attenborough one on Africa has been great (all on iPlayer) but assume you'll've seen that. Dunno of any others recent.

There's only one semi-"exclusive" torrent site I ever use. Specialist horror/pr0n/general weird shit one. Never find any of those on standard torrent sites but you don't have to be a member to d/l. You do tend to get blocked if you don't at least make an effort to seed for a decent while though cos it's such a small site non-members stand out like a sore thumb so get observed more closely. Worth it for sheer obscurity value though. Never seen any of their stuff available anywhere else.
 
Knock, Snuff Box isn't on your list (but I'm glad Absolutely is). Rich Fulcher is a bit special to me, I like 'im loads.

Nerdboy says check out Still Game if you haven't already ... he loves it tons, and it's scorrrtish.

He's a big lover of Radio [4] comedy so you're probably on the same level on that score.

Bonus points for mentioning Snuff Box too. Forgot about that but is pure genius. One of me fave recent(ish) comedy shows <3

Shambles; thebox is a really good site for specifically UK stuff. Everything is on there. Loads of stuff that never reaches international sites. It's brilliant for stuff you want to watch, but can't be arsed with 4OD's adverts, etc. It really is a good site. Saying that, they've deleted my account, for being inactive too long... Cunts. ;)

T3 does indeed ring some bells (and Zaerc Tracker) ... and a few others I remember from around that time/from similar place ... will come to me in a bit after I've eaten these sainsbury's moroccan burgers with tons of salad n mayo <3

Don't worry, for now. I've not needed to use it for months. Thanks, though. I know where to get one now. In fact, they've got sign up as an option, at the moment. People should jump on that.
