Thanks to several people who recommended Generation Kill. Watched it over the last coupla days and just finished it this morn - is a good 'un. Got first two seasons of Treme up next but will probably take me a while to get through 'em cos am not watching much tellybox of late.

Oh, and for anybody who's been following my on-again/off-again thing with Fringe (that'll be PTCH at most then) I did finish it in the end. Although actually didn't notice it was the last one cos was utterly braindead by that point. Jeebuz that show goes to shit after the first season or two... yet still somehow manages to be somewhat addictive in a purely masochistic kinda way :?

GREAT Show on tv couple days ago about footballers and depession, including a bit on Robert Enke who was supposed to be the german goalie at the world cup but killed himself on a railway crossing before the 2010 world cup.

Its on I player now and well worth a watch
Cant say I have ever suffered from depression myself, but it sounds like a truly horrid disease that I would not wish on anyone, its a great documentary

"Since the tragic suicide of Gary Speed in 2011, football has had to face up to a stigma in the game - mental illness. But is there a still taboo in the game? Footballer and chairman of the PFA Clarke Carlisle investigates depression - and even suicide - in British football and speaks to young players, managers and Gary Speed's family to find out why footballers are suffering in silence"
