If you enjoy watching folk who are full of themselves and are far too self confident in an almost comical way then watch 'The Apprentice' tonight on BBC1 at 9pm tonight.

I literally only came on to the board to post this! Great minds n all that ;)

Oh, and The Valleys on mtv at 10. It's like a lowlife version of Geodie Shore, you won't believe your eyes! I can't believe I watch this shit. I promise, I actually have an above average IQ...
 
They do indeed! Geordie shore got so boring by the end. All it was was Gary and Charlotte banging on about each other.

The only good series out of the bunch, if you take it with a pinch of salt of course, is Jersey Shore. Pauly D is actually likeable and funny, as is Snooki.

The valleys makes me feel quite good about myself! :D

Its good entertainment. its like they have no shame at all. my girlfriend said the same thing the last day, she said she doesn't feel like she makes a mong of herself when shes drunk because she knows she doesn't act as bad as them:)
 
I literally cannot believe they carry on like that and their parents watch! One mum (jenna's I think) actually came on the programme and sounded worse than some of the guys.

Proper trash tv!
 
Apprentice is back on. This year's bunch of buzz-word worshipping, blue sky thinking arseholes seem even more annoying than usual.
 
not the same; i focus more on a scheduled broadcast cos i know rewind is not an option. You won't remember but in the old days before VCRs people sat in hushed reverence, in groups, all watching the same thing. I actually miss it, something good on TV was a sacred sequence of holy moments.
 
One of the blokes on The Apprentice last night didn't half look like Danny Dyer.
I half expected him to say 'I'm the fucking team leader you bunch of slags'.
The welsh geezer looks like he has had too much botox injected into his face.
Usual bunch of dickheads who think far too much of themselves. Episode 2 is on at 9pm tonight.
 
I concur. Loved the whole series. Anyone into decent action/drama/historical series should give it a looksee 'cos it's really well done.

Question Time on now, BBC1. Sexy Germaine is on.
 
In Apprentice news, I gave up on it several series back. Not cos I don't like it (is properly entertaining car crash TV) but mainly cos it's just too much of a commitment. Goes on for bastard ever and is just the same old same old every year. I still get my Apprentice vittles in via the medium of You're Fired though.

Tonight I am mostly watching Nature's Weirdest Events (three episodes currently on iPlayer). Enjoyed the first series and this is just as good. Is fascinating stuff. Particularly enjoyed the polar bear/dog story in the first episode. Fella saw a polar bear about to kill and eat his sled-dog and couldn't intervene but did decided to photograph what happened. And what happened is that at the last minute the dog went into a submissive "let's play" position and the polar bear recognised the body language and they played together for the next twenty minutes. No eating involved despite the fact the bear was in search of food and probably starving.

Fast forward a few years and this event has become an annual event and - even more amazing - polar bear now brings his mates along and they all play together. Has since been well-documented and the footage is amazing. And very revealing about how and why evolution favours empathy across even species lines. Proper snoo story so it is <3
