The What's Good on European TV Thread Vs. What's Knock to Watch??

Have seen some of Sopranos but got lost fairly early on as I do believe it was mostly on during me scaggy years or not long after so was distracted. Is fairly near the top of me ToWatch list for teevee stuffs though. Been meaning to get around to watching it all properly.

Alan Yentob has a BBC4 documentary series about US TV shows on at the moment and The Sopranos got major bigups all round. Spiritual predecessor of Breaking Bad. Apparently.
 
Might have already mentioned but; secret eaters. So funny seeing them in complete and total denial
 
ITV.4 at 22.35 tonight is the great film 'Natural Born Killers',love this film.
Wish I could find the soundtrack CD I had for the film as it was full of great songs and totally different genres,well worth a listen to if you get the chance.
 
I'm watching Ultimate Road Wars on Pick TV!

Fucking great show Road Wars, and this, Ultimate Road Wars is a collection of viewers' favourite Road Wars scenes.

I still thingk I prefer Police Interceptors. But this is good.

they've just busted a cannabis farm with 600 plants that probably produces £25,000 a week!!
 
Have you noticed how little of the actual camera-on-head footage is shown?
It's basically the same programme as Street Crime UK etc etc!

And it's always them busting weed growers, nothing ever good!

Another one of my faves ... I preferred Quentin's original script to the sanctimonious Stone version, but eh, I can't help but fucking love the movie. The soundtrack is indeed ace.

Anyone watching Hannibal yet? If not, why not? It's about 5 eps in. You should be watching it already. Will Graham is a superb character, so glad he's picked up for this series.


It's really decent. For anyone who loves Manhunter > Silence of the Lambs, you'll fucking love it.

Manhunter still makes it to my top 10 fave film list I recon.

Recently read Red Dragon. First of the Hannibal Lecter novels. Class book. Must check out this show
