True. I think the NHS doesn't generally recommend more than 4000 IU per day. Except if you're deficient, in which case 10000 IU is recommended, although I was prescribed 20000!
Pulling cables up in a loft that has half a metre of glass wool in the height of Summer is definitely itchy bum timeActually the warmest day of the year so far. First taps off I’ve seen was a couple weeks back when it reached the lofty heights of maybe 12 degrees![]()

Sometimes you have to get right in amongst it

Explored a mate's loft one time and got too bold. Next thing I'm clinging to the beams having fallen three quarters of the way into next door!Yeh, I've had to remove loft insulation contaminated with rat shit many a time. Not a pleasant job at any time of year, but sheer hell in summer.
Do you use those crawl boards at all? We're supposed to, but it's too much of a pain in the arse dragging them up and down the ladders and trying to manoeuvre them around all the support struts.

Luckily it was an empty house and I got out, but I'll never go near a loft again.
Oddly enough a clock is (imo anyway) pretty much essential for me to function optimally at workClocks are almost at the point of just being something to decorate your wall with
What with cell phones etc
And yet you did just that before April is out even, never mind May. Tssk, You rowdy rebel. Old Yorkshire Ma's turning in their graves.Today is my first day of the year without having a vest underneath my work shirt.
This may be a little premature, but it's looking good so far.
There's an old Yorkshire saying which is pretty damn true in this country:
"Ne'er cast a clout, till May is out"
Which means 'don't remove your winter clothing until the start of June'.
I don't really need to keep a careful track of time so just use my phoneOddly enough a clock is (imo anyway) pretty much essential for me to function optimally at work
A watch might cut it. Not a phone though

Regarding seasonal depression - try a decent sad lamp perhaps. I have a family member who swears by them. It's not gonna provide total relief but helps a lot for some
I'm just standing up for clocks man - use 'em or lose 'em!I don't really need to keep a careful track of time so just use my phone
My father in law has got several wind up clocks plus wall clocks ,does my head inI'm just standing up for clocks man - use 'em or lose 'em!
