I don't envy you there mate. I fuckin hate working in lofts
The new insulation is not so bad but the old stuff litterly gives you splinters
Sometimes you have to get right in amongst it
Some people say to use cold water to wash it off your skin but I prefer to go in a hot shower and just let it soak into my pours ,get it over and done with

Trade at work has tripled since the sun came out Monday and I launched a new menu today I'm dead.

Better fucking rain tomorrow fucking hell 💀
I bet there is alot of work in changing a menu ,that's one job I couldn't do ,don't have the balls for it
There always seems to be alot of shouting and aggression just simmering under the surface in a kitchen
I've worked in plenty doing maintenance

Yeh, I've had to remove loft insulation contaminated with rat shit many a time. Not a pleasant job at any time of year, but sheer hell in summer.

Do you use those crawl boards at all? We're supposed to, but it's too much of a pain in the arse dragging them up and down the ladders and trying to manoeuvre them around all the support struts.

Explored a mate's loft one time and got too bold. Next thing I'm clinging to the beams having fallen three quarters of the way into next door!

Luckily it was an empty house and I got out, but I'll never go near a loft again.

Its Grey sky's in florida. Windy. But its florida so it can hit 80 something in the same day lol
As for my day i learned the Iraq War was planned in the city im in according to a delta force commander so thats cool

Never used a crawl board in my life ,you get pretty nimble on your feet after 25 years
Never went through a ceiling yet even when I've been half cut from night before 🤣
I'll probably land in some old wifey's lap now that I've said that 🙄

Yeh some lofts you can get access right through to neighbours
Been loads of burglary with that method

Clocks are almost at the point of just being something to decorate your wall with
What with cell phones etc
Oddly enough a clock is (imo anyway) pretty much essential for me to function optimally at work

A watch might cut it. Not a phone though
Today is my first day of the year without having a vest underneath my work shirt.

This may be a little premature, but it's looking good so far.

There's an old Yorkshire saying which is pretty damn true in this country:

"Ne'er cast a clout, till May is out"

Which means 'don't remove your winter clothing until the start of June'.
And yet you did just that before April is out even, never mind May. Tssk, You rowdy rebel. Old Yorkshire Ma's turning in their graves.

Regarding seasonal depression - try a decent sad lamp perhaps. I have a family member who swears by them. It's not gonna provide total relief but helps a lot for some

I don't really need to keep a careful track of time so just use my phone
