🗣️ General Discussion 🗣️ The Weather Thread

What, that is only 68 degrees Fahrenheit. It is about 26 degrees Celcius in my house and it feels comfortable and cool. I don't even notice the heat till around 30 degrees Celcius in my home and 32 degrees Celcius outside.
My relatives in Texas have endure days that are around 40 degrees Celcius, and I remember working in my dead ex uncle's factory in that type of heat, when I worked for him one summer, BTW semesters in College
I can only wish for 20 degrees Celcius in the summer. Days that are 20 degrees Celsius are a rare treat for me, in the summer.
Some of us are ultra sensitive to single digit temp change, up + down.

Wow, I live in Michigan and the Great Lakes and the cold from Canada, can cause a temperature change of of close to 20 degrees Celsius from one day to the next in late winter and early spring.
One day it is just below freezing and snow on the ground. The next day, people are riding Harleys and driving convertibles with the top down.

Then within 1-3 days I am outside with the snow blower removing 25 cm or so, of snow.

You really would hate it here in Michigan, but there are long periods of time with coldish wet overcast weather;
Like the UK.

Everytown has an ice yard ready, for that once in several years 1 day of ice that has become the norm now. There are no real winters anymore.

And this year also no real summer, lots a rain and grey days rotating with sunny days inbetween. Also saw no bees or humble bees till in 1/2 juli. Our mussel and Lobsters are crying, eh dying from the polution.

Were going to get burned anyway, we fucked up supossedly in the name of god. Are they kidding me, stewardship over the earth my ass.
This is the result, that says enough about so called Christian's, their Happily enriching themselves on their way to babylon. Goes for all mayor religion's I know and they outnumber the good guys. So enjoy and give a good example, dont get killed but do open your mouth as what is happening aint right. Anyone using their brain can see it, no need for light.

Dont mind hot so much 24 celcius now. But combine it with high humidity and its a real slower down.

Love the rain! Its way less common now i relocated. So rainfalls are mostly short events. But those hour long during rainfalls from my youth, seemed to be more of a land vs island thing.

Sun is good to, but before my seizures my body couldnt stand it, a day on the beach was torture, even bright lights, the ones used to grow vegetables hurted. Or biking in the sun. But after my set of seizures it changed. My reaction to the sun dissapeared.
Feeling under or over heated, no bother any more. So the seizures did at least do one thing positive,
changing my body/ mind reaction on the temp/ weather conditions and experiencing too hot or too cold as bothersome.

And I have Scandanevic genes, which might be of influence, who knows. Sweat like a waterfall when working especially when humid and/ or hot environments. Since the seizure way less btw.

I thought Europeans were already naked most of the time. That's how I picture them at least

Naked on a patio dipping some cookie with a stupid name into some kind of coffee in a weird cup, while wearing one of those French artist hats and sweating

I live in a rural area and the last couple of nights they've been muck spreading. In fucking July. That shit should be illegal. The whole village smells like a festival toilet.

For those who don't know what muck spreading is, it's exactly what it sounds like and you really don't want to have your windows open when they're doing it

At least the wheat is happy eh?

As someone who cut his teeth working on farms, I actually like the smell of cowshit. It's warm and comforting - unless it's pigshit. That's a little too close to human faeces for my liking...

Edit: I was out muckspreading one day and was returning to the farm for a refill of shit, when I realised I'd left the mechanism running, leaving a healthy trail of shit for about a mile through the village :ROFLMAO:

No one noticed though, it's par for the course for these country folk.

My mother always said the same thing. "Don't you love this fresh country air?"

Fresh is not the word I would have chosen, but nostalgia comes in all shapes and forms.

Now I feel like a city slicker diva 🤭

Also, nothing, and I mean NOTHING, beats tripping on mushrooms under a full moon in the countryside.
This is so true! I was blessed to grow up country side but now I'm trying to find my own land or actually just a place to call home right now 😕

On the other hand it tis' hotter than Satan's cock straight HUMID in 80s to 90s getting hotter and a longggg stretch of it, August sucks at least where I am.

On the other hand RECORD heat 🥵 🔥 ☀️ ozone, super volcanoes 🌋 fuckkkk man.

The older I get, the more tired I am to ads, cops, stressed out car drivers who can't accept having to slow down, people who try to sell me telephone contract and overall the whole concrete hell.

And I live in the peaceful part of the big city. Maybe I should live my dreams instead of realizing this every summer I go visit people around the country?

Regarding the climate, it has been gentle for me during my travel these few weeks. Some passing 'bouts of rains and slight coolness I could shake off by moving a bit, sometimes sweating but not many scorching hot days.

Rain has been pretty intense when I am NOT outside and have not made plans to go out tho'
