my long perilous 10-15 minute journey in this lousy weather was fruitless. My pharmacist told me yesterday when I got my Valium( diazepam) that it is 28 days look on the bottle I did. Forget the scrappy high 40's F or 9 degrees C weather and ugly headache inducing weather after I got there he told no Gabapentin till Monday but it is Holiday.
So I gotta wait till Tuesday after Memorial Day in The Colonies aka America so Tuesday which means I will be cheated out of Gabapentin and also extra Oxycodone. Today was terrible. I should have picked my up Gabapentin on time last month. They are closed Sunday also.
I blame the weather. I know many of you would blame Trump. If you did; you would be saying he is GOD. Please don't do that. He's isn't.

Yes, wet American Indians who have been dancing and beating their drums. Oh you mean the long definition given when I looked it up. No. But do you know the smell of Michigan before, during, and after every patriotic holiday? Gun powder from all those fireworks. It is Friday night/ Saturday morning and it sounds like Beirut in the 80's. Fireworks. Good ones. You can basically get anything including ones used by people in other states who have to have licenses to shoot them off, for professional fireworks displays. Not, kidding we have the loosest fireworks laws and weed laws. Great combo, throw in cases of Pabst and cheap booze and you have many sleepless nights. Rednecks, ahhhh.

Weather and climate are not the same things.
Nobody ever said it would always be warmer, everywhere, all of the time.

I've been watching the climate in Tennessee for over 60 years. Summers have more days above 100F than they used to. Winters have fewer days below 32F than they used to. Also, severe storms and periods of drought are more frequent than they used to be

I don't need anybody to tell me this. I am witnessing it and feeling it in real time.
 
Global warming is demonstrably real. Anyone who can’t follow the evidence really needs to open their eyes and/or retake some basic science classes…

That aside, tonight we are on a cusp. Light rain after an inordinately hot and dry spell threw us a curveball.

We picked up an amazing selection of marinated meats from our local spice shop (sadly closing down after 20 years sterling service to the community - support your local small businesses, yo) and Sadie risked grilling ‘em tonight. Unfortunately the rain finally kicked in… but it’s gonna be immense despite the weather :p

yeah, just like the mini ice age from 16th century to the nineteenth century, it can' t be stopped or caused. Just like the ozone hole I heard every day for a decade, 100 times a day. It is not man made. The Ozone hole, ain't heard shit about that because scientists had to concede it was there and nothing could be done. or the coming ice age that scientists said in the 70's. Or the long heatwave from around the mid 10th century to well into the 13th century. Man didn't cause it.

Or in 1816 The Summer and Longer Without a Sun in 1816; after Mount Tambora erupted and caused global misery and starvation. And the Sun was blocked. How exactly did man cause or what could have been done to prevent it? Nothing. Just like the Climate. Damn it is getting colder.

For decades the Nuclear power plant he worked at was picketed by leftist who said the country and world was doomed because of Nuclear power. Almost every day these hippies and far leftists boycotted. Not anymore. They were told to embrace nuclear power and they have.
