i didn't think you needed yellow fever for asia? anyway, i needed it for west africa. you need to get it at least 10 days before you travel.
 
I don't remember getting it, just HepB as all the other ones are done at school and were still recent enough.

Towards the end of Jan is more likely.

Hard to say how much at the moment, will have at least £1500, will be significantly more if I make lots of commission between now and then, and, quit my job to get my week in hand and holiday pay in one lump sum.

How long you planning on going for again and where you visiting?

Am I wrong in thinking you had more than £1500 saved up previously? I seem to remember £3k being banded about. Did you spunk it all on expensive jackets? :D

Flights booked and paid for or they included in that £1500? Rucksack and all other gear bought?
 
£1500 is left over after I've booked flights and bought gear.
3k was a goal, aimed for 2k min which I managed.. then I subtracted flights etc.

Most I had was about £2400 at one time, but a grand of it was Carsick's
I've always calculated how much cash I'll have by the time I leave without actually having it. see: RBS.

In order of places: Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, then just general Thailand, Laos, Vietnam (motorbiking from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh ) then Cambodia and home.
Will take me 2-4 months, only factor I need to consider for coming home is when the missus wants to go to Cuba
 
I just got back from home- the states. What a place! 4 ft. of snow and getting there and getting back, by taxi, train, tube, train and plane wrecked my body carrying all those damn suitcases. But Vegas was fun!
I feel like I need a hospital now.
I'm not going back- my kids are demons now.
 
You don't seem to have that much money mate. I'd want more than that if planned to go away for 3-4 months.

Also why did you have a grand of Carsicks money that you were including as your own travel fund?
 
He didn't want the banks/student loans people to gobble up his first pay cheque so he transferred it to my account.
 
Yeah but it wasn't YOUR money nor for your travel fund you numpty.

I seriously don't think you've got enough money. £1500 for 3 - 4 months is fuck all.
 
When you consider how battered GBP has been lately, it is even less than fuck all.
 
edde mate, just face facts and know your limitations. i think you should give up the dream and go for a week in ibiza.

I think its do able, but it would help if the USD went down against the pound a little bit
