The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership

^ A decent minimum wage, or better a citizens income that everyone can live on (i guess we have to become citizens and not subjects first). To attract us to work for them employers would have to not fuck us over as much as they can/do through current employment regulations - this would put the power balance the right way round (majority rules and all that - we are many, they are few). Whatever the current bosses say this could solve overall unemployment problems - there's not enough jobs to go round supposedly - if we could support ourselves with the money from two days work, we can have full employment (with a bit of redistribution from the elite - they can take it (did you see that graph)) - this is the inevitable coming true of keynes' predictions (it's this or worldwide unrest - the elite have gambled on the latter, hence the interrnational beefing up of police forces and repression of civil rights).

Also, an important thing in that strauss-khan link was the report from the imf saying they've now decided that austerity was a mistake (yeah right) - they said they should have let the economies get growing through creating demand (ie spending) before starting the cuts. Funny how i haven't heard the media or the government apologise and say they were going to ditch the austerity programs (but they are servants of the main beneficiaries, the banking/corporate elite).

I don't really think they care about the economy..

Thinking about this kinda thing has started getting me really down recently.. I mean.. There's just so much wrong with the system and it's not like it's even conspiracy theory cover ups.. this shit is right out there in the open.

The monetary and banking system is a construct to enslave people.

We need to follow Icelands example.. Imprison the bankers.

Nigel "should" be well up for, but he's not.

I won't be giving money anywhere besides the Vatican but I think people should be responsible, don't have loads of children if you don't have money to take care of your previous ones, simple logic. The wealth of the world is already distributed fairly as far as I'm concerned.

"the wealth of the world is already distributed fairly" Are u retarded ? How can any one honestly say that when people are starving to death, and sleeping rough with out a penny. While the elite earn more than our lifetime wages in a week.

From what i can make of it the Uk seems to be structured just right for these companies....

That's because it's the companies that is structuring the system.

Corporations run the world.. they decide what laws to pass, what not to, what counties to invade, etc etc..

UKIP is not a party aligned with corporate interests, they're out for the common man.

The corporations love an open-door immigration policy (brought to you by the EU overlords) because it assures them a vast supply of labour to keep wages down.

^i didn't realise this was a comedy thread. People who support flat taxes and privatising the nhs (and who went from public school to the city of london hedge fund; and are funded by millionaire bankers) are NOT for the common man. UKIP are just another strain of the same elite - what they protest about with immigration they'd do via outsourcing instead.

There is a genuine intersection between the class-based bigotry of tory toffs and the ignorance-based bigotry of the 'common' man if that's what you mean - and a long tradition of the right knowingly tapping into that ignorant vein for their own nebulous purposes, but this in no way means they're on their side (except inasmuch as they'll always need some ignorant masses).
