That's true to a certain extent but there are differences between people as well - particularly where religion is concerned.

And as far as psychedelic drugs are concerned too - there doesn't appear to be a single, solitary muslim asian posting on this board. Not one. Anyone got any reasons why?

True, but don't get carried away with the idea that because mushroom use existed in south american societies that they were all proto-hippies "hanging out and getting righteously mellow" together on mushrooms. That wasn't how mushrooms and yage were used in those societies. Almost exclusively the only guy tripping was the shaman - often purely for medical diagnosis. Like a witchdoctor. The famous story Wasson tells is of a retarded kid being taken to Maria Sabina for a diagnosis - she takes mushrooms and then tells the kid and his family that "The mushroom says the kids gonna die". The family collapse sobbing in despair. That sound like the kind of mushroom trip you and your mates would want to go on?

Also, EADD isn't just for drug discussion. It's a social forum, and politics has always been allowed as far as I'm aware.

Not sure where you got your 'facts' from either mate. Foreign aid certainly hasn't recently increased by 8% and Crawley is almost an all white population. Like any of this is gonna make change, like any protests or anything will change anything about this sorta thing, can you imagine the government forcing them moving out the country?, there would be world wars, god there would be terrorist attacks every fuckin day!

Bottom line is I think we are as well.

Personally I find the key is to have as little responsibility as possible. possibly just a modern version of Buddha and his claim that all attachment leads to suffering .

I dont want to sound completely narcissistic but at the end of the day, other people are NOT your problem. regardless of how close they are to you.

Is only that realisation that can lead to self realization. Even Buddha fucked off and left his year old kid and wife behind to seek the truth
