?? ? THE SOCIAL CLUB v. Come Say Hi! ? ??

Hi Ya T! I'm following Tubbs lead and doing the same but twice is one day is a step in the right direction seeing you in here. %) I have to agree a nice single malt can usually get the recipient to crack a smile. Glen-anything would be good.

I love whiskey. A single malt scotch is a pretty normal thing for me to get as a gift. I don't complain lol

Glenlivet might be my favorite brand. All of their scotch is a pretty good value IMO. Their 12 yesr is as smooth as others' 15 year, and their 15 is as smooth as others' 17, etc

and a better value than something like Johnny Walker Blue Label, which is blended anyway.

Then there's Glenfiddich 50 YO which is as much as a new Honda Accord..

Ive never cared for Johnny Walker. One of my least favorite brands!

I've more recently been sampling Balvenie's single malt's. Their 15 year that's aged rum casks was a treat. I had trouble deciding if it tasted more like a scotch or a rum... whichever, it was delicious

Well for 26k you could have:

Nose: A beautifully harmonious with an uplifting, vibrant and complex aroma. Delicate floral notes (rose petals and violets) are intriguingly intertwined with green tobacco leaf and oak and just a faint hint of smoke.

Palate: Initially very sweet with a zesty orange marmalade and vanilla toffee, which then cascades through a wonderful series of layers: aromatic herbs, floral and soft fruits, silky oak tannin and hints of gentle smoke.

Finish: Exceptionally long with a touch of dry oak and the merest trace of peat.

But Balvenie's would suffice just fine IMO. This would be very nice actually at 12yo:

I have a one friend who's pretty well off and also a scotch drinker. We tried some of variety of crown that retailed for a few thousand dollars. That's the only time I've had a chance to indulge in one of those ridiculously priced whiskies. It was far better than any other whiskey I've had, but worth a few grand? Lord no

I have that exact same bottle of Balvenie sitting on my shelf :) it's pretty good IMO. Very flavorful, but not as smooth as I would've hoped.

Yeah, Johnny Walker sucks. I tried Blue Label once, found a Mexican restaurant selling shots for six bucks due to some fairly obvious confusion. Not worth anywhere near the usual price tag. I dig most of the obes you guys have mentioned enjoying, but I don't drink much these days. I used to be really big into beer, have tried over 1,200 different brews, but it gets expensive and the snobbery that's become inherent with many in the hobby are a turn off.

You clearly haven't sampled truly hop otin beer in its native Anderson Valley. It is subpar compared to the 8,313 other breweries in that area, though Lagunitas scored my first arrest.

I used to get Scots whisky for my dad's various days, then realized he was more of a bourbon drinker. That worked for a while until the parents decided that magical proximity forces emanating from alcohol was the reason for the dissatisfaction they hadn't noticed they had with me that was apparently building all along for years.

Anyway, no hooch in the house, except for the hooch I hide. But still don't drink, praise jebus.

Got a nice date with my bong today. It is surprisingly cool up north, and the sun is shining. I rarely take my bong out of its shrine but I will clean it, pack it up, and hit some trails with whatever is left of my quarter ounce from last night. I got two strains to mix bowls with and get high as fuck. Now there is a good date today for a fuckin hippie pothead fuck.

Had a sick yoga class earlier it was amazing. The concentration, body awareness and balance are really fun to me and I am getting in damn good shape, that was my 20th class this year. I packed massive bowls before and after, and took a good amount of etiz, got some alprazolam which I strongly prefer too. It was really fun, and healthy.

Better get out in the sun. It's just 3 in the afternoon and the sun is already setting. It won't be warm like that for long. I'd like to not wear a winter coat since it will end up permeated by pot.

Failed goals cashed bowls, it's how it goes, I've been told. Encouraged into a plastic fucking mold. Some bold, others cold, many stagnant to the point of rotten mold. Broken bones, in the toes. Unable to let go, taking a step behind is a no. Since you've sunk, as far as there is to go. How did you not know? The coke the blow the yeyo, along with that hydro. Satisfaction isn't enough of a distraction. The hustle carries on, time to rip the bong. How long, until I find myself singing the same dreadful song. Better live like Tommy Chong, while there's fire chron and my bong to rip life long.

Just picked up 1/8 of plat Jack, blubbery cheesecake, gelato, and a gram of plat og hash... Still waiting for my acylated dmt, dpt, and lsd. Jellous anyone? :D probably will see pom poko in a theater on LSD or ALD too

I was thinking of going to a theatre tonight, and getting really stoned for a film. Smoking bong in the parking lot. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.

It has been such a nice day. Smoked so much chron at least an eighth. I went out for a long walk along the snowy trails holding my bong and trying to melt the snow enough for the bong water. Ended up spilling a little bong water on myself. Smoked up in 3 different spots it was really fun. Cold, but fun.

I'm so mellowed out from the kush. I want to go on another adventure, I am bursting with energy today which is sweet because after hot yoga like that before, my body would be exhausted for the rest of the day. I got out for a long walk in frigid weather with a bong though. That is marked progress in recovery of opiates.

Good evening, or corresponding rotational reference frame, Mrs. Bts.

And yes, we're all here on Valentine's. Alone. Together, alone.

(Or maybe just us? Heard of your latest medical woes, I'm sorry, I tried to back out of the Words thread as fast as I could, but not fast enough I guess)
