Hello everyone. Haven't been on bluelight in some time now. I am pumped to be back.
I have a 10year relationship with substance abuse. Mostly opiates and alcohol. But I'm experienced with benzos, coke/crack, heroin and most opiates and booze.
Lately it's been strictly heroin as I've begun a treatment program and have have been doing my best to quit everything. I have nothing to taper with but that may change later this week.

Hey Gregg. Sorry, but it sounds like you don't have any experience plugging gabapentin, so I'm afraid we just can't have you on board.

Yeah, I never understood why it took so long to really come around these parts. It's always been flooded with cocaine, but not much meth until the last couple years. Reading on it some people are of the opinion that gangs that supplied cocaine to Chicago and the surrounding areas didn't want the competition that meth would bring and did everything they could to keep it out. Don't know if that's true, but it certainly makes sense. Also, when it was mostly domestic production, there were way more labs downstate where there are larger swaths of rural areas. Heroin, Coke/crack and weed are still the main drugs on the streets, but it seems that with the influx of the mexican made meth, it's finally really arrived up here in more than just the scattered little spots that it used to be. Also, it used to be if you could find it you would get charged outrageous prices, but that seems to be over with now that it's not as scarce. There's alot of it in the small towns that I live around, that and heroin is huge. People drive to the city and cop as much as they can, come back and sell it. The people with the means and the balls just go to the city themselves to avoid getting taxed to hell.
 
I feel you there, went up there a few years ago, had some stuff with me but was looking for more in case I ran out, I never found any, had no trouble finding my buddies heroin though.

Yeah Chicago is one of the easiest cities to get heroin in. Don't have to know anyone, just hit the west side and look for some dopeboys.
Doesn't take too long to find them either. Crack and Weed readily available too. But ask them dudes about crystal and they'll look at you like you got two heads. I only ever did H a few times and the last time I went with my buddy who was on it bad and got a whole jab from his phone connect out ther.I decided to shoot it after drinking all day and snorting some of it just because I had to know what that rush felt like. Only shot a third of a bag, but yeah I o.d.'d. I guess I kept stopping breathing and turning blue and my buddies had to keep shaking me and yelling to wake me up. If I was alone I'd be dead. I knew a little about harm reduction at the time, not near as much as I know now, and I think the alcohol had me feeling invincible. No opiod tolerance to speak of, combining with alcohol and I.V.ing it when I was already high as shit from snorting it. Yeah, i should be dead.
 
I love st. Louis, but it's getting dangerous, our murder rate per capita is almost double you folks in Chicago's. Have actually been thinking about relocating to Chicago, loved the city while I was up there.

It's a sad day when I have to point out our number of murders has doubled in 10 years:(.

We had over 200 murders last year, so double that rate.
