Another day of trying to stay clean and tackle life shit. Just an honorary title, and I'd be hard pressed to encourage anyone to follow my 'medical' advice. More of a nickname bestowed on me long ago by some fellow punters. I guess having to dose friends with narcan is not a substitute for med school

Is it just me or is OD a bit slow today? Right, it's Friday!

FML. Today is why I need to keep an emergency supply of kratom (or diazepam or tramadol) around... Cannabis ain't cutting it today friends :(

Dealing with boredom today? That makes two of us. Yeah 20mg of Valium might just hit the sweet spot

Skyrim helps me with the boredom :) especially when I take tolerance breaks from cannabis.

Naw, not so much boredom. I just really really really wanted to trip balls tonight and that is a big not possible given my plans tomorrow. I was talking with someone about it earlier and I was going kinda crazy (I likely won't have another chance to trip this summer, so that knowledge doesn't help).

It's been a while since I've had kratom, so I'm looking forward to getting a few overpriced doses of that. Throw in a couple whippets and my evening meal will be complete.

Simple living ;)

I think I'll join you with a Kratom/cannabis night.

I have no idea when I'll be able to use psychadelics again. It really makes me sad. Although I'm still thinking about giving mescaline a go

You totally should try mescaline, it's my favorite classic psychedelic. So rich, so forgiving :)

Well, kratom and cannabis mission accomplished. Still kicking myself for forgetting a balloon (seriously though, who buys a cracker and whippets and doesn't want a balloon...), but such is life. It goes on...

Remastered. And ya I do play on PS4. Although I also logged a lot of time on the original game on my ps3

After talking with CH the other day I downloaded CS. I only played it once in high school, so revisiting as an adult is kinda fun. Makes me miss N64 though.

Woke up to a fucking argument today. Fucking great way to start what should otherwise be an outstanding weekend. Cannot wait for the beach!

Kratom last night was entirely underwhelming. It's kinda nice that I don't enjoy it that much, kinda a distraction but nothing more. Definitely removed whatever cravings I was having, but I couldn't deal with taking it more than once in a blue moon. Not exactly my cup of tea, which is funny considering how I love opioids, but it doesn't allow me to manage my anxiety like opioids do, which was almost entirely the only reason I enjoyed them. Probably better that way.

Sorry to hear your weekend is off to a bad start :/

Which CS game do you have TPD? Is it source?

Yup, I think it is source (what does this mean though? Not pirated? I paid the $ to steam for it). It's CS:GO. I have just been playing with bots, as admittedly my FPS skills have decreased since I stopped playing them much. Been like 15 years since I really played video games, so it's kinda fun :) even with something as simple as CS.

What is Skyrim like? Kinda like Mist?

Days going much better now, 'twas just a small hiccup. I can't wait until the fall and my time is more occupied with academic matters. I get to spend the day with one of my favorite teachers at UCLA today, so that is gonna be pleasurable. Kinda secretly hoping to run into this girl I met the other day who I could swear I went to high school with. I almost never run into people I grew up with in LA, those who haven't moved away; it's a damn big city. It would be cool to catch up on that stuff with someone from what has come to feel kind of like a past life though

How is everyone else's weekend going so far?

It has been a LONG week. I get paid salary regardless of how long I work and sometimes my employer takes major advantage of that. I logged nearly 80 hours from Monday to Friday, so pretty much worked from the time I woke up until bedtime each day.

So I was happy to wake up this morning and not have to do anything. Left a parachute dose of Kratom and a can of Mt dew on the night stand so that I wouldn't have to get out of bed in the morning.

The caffeine, sugar and Kratom are synergizing nicely I must say. Laying in bed right now feels cozier than usual.

Kratom and caffeine are a great combination. It can be a really nice pick me up, but the kratom always gives me some relaxation/sedation to smooth it all out.

Have you tried talking to your employer about the crazy hours your working? I was having a similar issue a couple years ago. I told my employer that Im okay with staying late when there's work to do but that I didn't want to be working way more hours than we originally agreed upon without compensation. After that he let me leave early and get some paid vacation to balance things out.

I have worked for this employer for years and we've talked about it numerous times. Nothing changes, or at least stays changed for very long. I've just grown to accept it. I did negotiate a higher than average salary upfront because I knew I'd be working lots of "overtime"... So, in essence, I kinda already agreed to this situation. I knew exactly what I was getting myself into.

It isn't always busy like this. There are (very rarely) times when I barely work... say like only 6 hours in a week. Since I'm salaried the pay is always there regardless.

I work in the field service industry and drive from my home to various job sites. On days I don't have a job then I get to stay home... I don't have an office that I need to go to. So that's a huge plus as well.

So it kinda balances out... But I still work more than I should overall. I bet if I average the number of hours I work each week over a year's time it would work out to somewhere around 50 hours a week.

Im doing research now and I can feel you on that kind of work schedule. I probably work 50 hours a week on average too, but some weeks it's only 20ish hours while others it can be 70+. I'm okay with it though. For the most part, I set my own schedule, so when I'm working 70 hours in a week it's normally my own fault for poorly managing my time.

@TPD CS source and CS GO are separate games. I have source, but I've never played GO. I have a few friends that play CS GO, so I might buy it one of these days
