The Small & Handy DALT Thread

How much 5MeO-DALT did you take ?

I find 15-25mg a pretty nice, trippy, empathogenic kind of high. It makes me very hungry though, but it sure feels like a tryptamine. Was your 5MeO-DALT tested?

What? on what dosage? I always took it to slightly enhance my 2C-E trips but I never got that reaction. Must've been shit.
 
hmm, I found 5-meo-dalt to be pretty mild. Only real use for it I found was if it was smoked, it was a nice trippy aphrodisiac. Only really tried up to 50mg orally and it was pretty mild.

I'm looking for some infos about DALT (not 5meo version). I haven't found any infos on the net on this compound.
 
I think some were in that thread f'n'b mentions that he tried it insufflated once, and that it reminded him most of DPT.
 
Hmm yeah there appears to be next to nothing out there about this one on the web apart from the aforementioned links. Start low, titrate up, better safe than sorry.
 
^ F'n'B mentions it in one of the threads, but sounds like he was by no means sure of the purity of sampled material. Even Shulgin's report is vague/sketchy at best.

- This is expected to be made available soon in the UK from what I remember.
- Hopefully that thread linked to above will be joined with this one so that we have centralized information (or lack thereof)
 
I'll receive 100mg of DALT HCl soon.
No idea about ROA and dosage, maybe ~40mg orally as said in the post.
I'll report effects when i'll receive this compound...
It's very strange that here is no informations on DALT.
 
Any suggestions on what this might be like? I mean there is some idea fans of these compounds can have when you extrapolate the differences between the 5-Meo's en their parent compounds.
 
Personaly, I think, looking at the similarities between allyl and propyl (The length), that it's going to hold true that it's most like DPT. Also in regards to dosage and ROA. Which means it's probably best snorted or smoked (or IM/IV) in the same dosage range as DPT. It might even be less potent.

Oral will probably take 100's of mgs to be active.....just guessing of cause. We will see.

Anyone trying this Always remember to start low and titrate your doses up, of cause.

It's actually been available from 2 different Eu vendors for a while, so it's surprising that no ones reported on it yet.

Re: orally

An old "Burple" friend from back in the day always had the best luck with oral DPT by disolving it in OJ (the orange juice, not the convicted robber). No idea why it worked so well that way, but when added to OJ he would get effects from 75mg-100mg.

If the propyl to allyl groups do hold a lot of similarities then I'd say trying it in OJ may be the best way to go.
 
Reports should start appearing on this & the other new Trypt, 4-aco-dalt, soon. Sadly, I missed the samples as usual. I'll be looking for comparatives with 5-meo-dalt & aMT, both of which unfortunately just did not work out for me.

What would be cool would be if a Tryptamine similar to Psilocybin appeared legally in the UK. Fat chance in the near future though..!

About a year ago, I tried 40mg of 4-AcO-DALT fumarate via oral ROA and the experience was a decidedly underwhelming plus one (+). It was pleasant but nothing to write home about. Perhaps insufflation is a much better ROA (like 4-AcO/HO-DPT). Unfortunately, that was all the material that I had and I'm not planning on acquiring more. I left a small report and a bit of discussion with MGS in that compound's thread, if you're interested.
 
Receive a 100mg sample of DALT today.
I will report the effects in one week (i have exams now)
 
Okay so this seems to be quite a nice chem, albeit not particularly potent. Due to the limits of the amount of material available and cautious initial doses it will now be impossible for me to get a full picture, but from low doses it certainly seems preferable to its 5 methoxy cousin.

40mg oral produced + on shulgin scale, totally a threshold dose - but gave a hint of psychedelic head space, richness of colours etc

+1h20m - 25mg added (oral), increased intensity of effects slightly, but still very subtle.

+3 hours - remaining 35mg consumed, brought more to where I want to be - but get the impression this one has much more to give still.

Obviously results somewhat skewed by having to titrate up from lower initial dose. If I was to do it again I'd start at 60mg initial dose and work my way up from there.

I'd say this has promise though.

Glad to confirm from others it is active. I predict at the end of the day, it will be mostly DPT-like....maybe with less 'tremors' or 'intense vibrations' as some put it.....5-MeO-DALT and 5-MeO-DPT share a similar relationship in my opinion. Anyone ever take an oral dose of DPT who has some DALT......what to try this out and comment? :)
