yeah we had a few days of sun and it felt like spring, and my mood improved amazingly, then it started snowing again and everything went to shit.

London winters are pretty terrible, but nowhere near as bad as the one I experienced in Boston a few years ago.
Just as cloudy and rainy, and usually a lot colder.

Cloud and rain I can deal with and London Specialises in that albeit its usually not extremely cold , but fucking Boston was terrible and when its -14 when you leave your house at 7am, fuck that.

But with the news of Mugz passing, I dunno it feels cold today. Both Physically and spiritually.
Will go and buy a can of K Cider later and down it in his memory, its certainly what he would have wanted

People say Seattle is nightmarish in the winter, and the summer too for that matter, just because the sun barely ever comes out.

Yeah I never got that. I go to Seattle every summer and I've been there in the winter and it really isn't that bad. The summers are actually really nice there I think.

Wow, I don't know who to believe.... I know, I'll go with the one which confirms my prejudices. After all that's the main point of the Internet. Sorry Pagey ;)

Pfft sure, go with the internet propaganda and not with the real life experience. I see how it is. ;)

Honestly London weather is way worse than Seattle weather. I'm just sayin'.

I watched The Killing on the telly, it pissed down in every single episode, it was on Channel 4 I think, must be true....;)

I've got pictures of myself chilling at the beach in Seattle under the sun for evidence :o

Please post :)

I went to Vancouver in summer once and it was fantastic, not a cloud in the sky for 2 weeks,Think its about 50 miles north of Seattle so imagine the summers there are just as nice, but heard horrible things about Seattle winters.
In fact todays forcast shows 80% chance of rain and 27 Mph of Wind, so not much better than London really.

Amazing Weed and Craft beers in that part of the world though :)

50% of Frasier episodes show it pissing down as well.
Whenever Niles walks into the coffee shop he always has his brolly with him.

The Ironic thing is that the NFL team moved out of a dome stadium and into the fancy new one where the crowd is covered but the playing area isnt.

And it hasnt rained once in a daytime game since they did that.

It can belt it down though at times, that could rival London anytime

I don't particularly mind but wouldn't it be a tad weird for me to randomly post a picture of myself in the sad thread? Haha

Ah, see? ;)
Well Seattle winters aren't particularly nice, but from what I've seen of English weather so far they aren't worse than they are here. And summers over there are just awesome, it stays sunny and towards the upper 20s°C. I'd choose a Seattle summer over a sweltering 40+°C Paris summer any year.
It really is a great part of the world in general though :)

The days been so shitty with news of Mugz that I think we all need some cheering up.
Come on Pagey, its for a greater good :)

What's this emotional blackmail?! :p

But eh I don't really mind either way so -

Notice the clear blue sky (you're just gonna have to believe that it's Seattle)

And everyone have a very old but very big smiley face just for good measure and because I think everyone needs it right now

Much appreciated, just nice to see a smile sometimes. :)
Lord knows we dont see ennough of them in London !!!

Glad I could help then :)
(and no, that's true we don't)

Not trying to jack the thread about Mugz or anything but I agree 100%, when my nan passed away last year we had a wake after the funeral in a pub and all you could hear was kids playing, glasses clinking, people chatting and laughing and we even booked a jazz band as that was her fave music! I even ended up chatting up one of the waitresses ;) for us it was about celebrating her life and bringing family and friends together <3

Yeah that's definitely the way to do it. Tell me if this is a dumb idea but I think anyone who's comfortable with it should post a happy picture of themselves (probably best in the pic thread than here) in honour of Mugz and remembering how fun he was to have around. It'd be a nicer way to celebrate him than to feel miserable about it and argue with the lounge folks and all that. Plus he liked hanging out in the pic thread. I think he would've liked it. :)

Sounds a good plan! Unfortuantly all my pics are me wasted or with friends/family who prob wouldn't wanna be on BL :\ but LOVE the idea!!
