Mental Health The Rant Thread Vs. Really? How Does That Make You Feel?

I was about to work because tomorrow's the deadline, and there is still enough to do. But then I find that things I have been working on were replaced by "fast" solutions only because one procrastinator need help from the rest of the team.
So I wonder... Why do I even care to improve things? Let's all just be unprofessional and pretend we don't have brains.

I wouldn't even care if the fast/easy solution wouldn't come back to kick our asses.
 
so i'm smoking weed and i feel like getting a mcflurry everyone and their family is out cause of independence day which equals a long ass line at every fast food place. i was trying to get in the left lane and then this truck towing some vehicle decides to switch lanes over and im like fuck now i'm forced to go right, i put my shit in boost (gv70 electric and floored it lol ) cut em all off sorry to be that guy but fuck man i know the world doesn't revolve around me i just wanted to get back home asap. o well a protein shake some kratom and perhaps a murder mystery to take the edge off. just reminds me why going out is usually a waste a time
 
Extremely frustrating that oral drugs not only take a while to hit, but are also inconsistent on how long it takes. I get so anxious and end up redosing and go way too far sometimes
 
i drank and blacked out and woke up with some sort of green fungus or mold on my feet

also i find it extremely irritating trying to function without dxm, i'd rather not, i'd rather constantly have it

i really want to have a working (if not good) relationship with my half brother, but he keeps making things impossible. it's as if every time he feels bored, inferior, or maybe lonely, he looks for a reason to start a discussion.
i ignore him, of course. and answer only what's relevant.
but it still makes me sad and a little mad.

I told those people if they want something valuable, pay for it.

I'm genuinely offended and violated by anything but everyone being an equal human being to whom a gender does not manipulate thier experience or rights.

I could be a man or a woman, I would have treated everybody the same.

I dont societal identify.

I'm seriously offended by society, everyone is always trying to separate equal human experience into two separate categories and I find it seriously disturbing.

I was a victim of a hate crime last Saturday and I already have C-PTSD, so I bought some pepper spray to take with me at night just in case (I am injured and cannot effectively defend myself hand to hand rn). I tested it on myself today and it just works as a fucking dying agent! I was in no way, shape or form incapacitated...just stained red. So there's 20 euro I don't have to spare down the drain. TOTALLY FALSE ADVERTISING.

You'd literally be better off with a squirt gun filled with tobasco sauce.

DO NOT BUY "REDimpact anti-agression spray" - I'm really glad I tested it, because it's as useful as tits on a bull. I rubbed my eye with my thumb that was stained red, IT DIDN'T EVEN ACT AS AN IRRITANT!

I'm filing for a refund from Amazon and also reporting the company for false advertising. It has 4.5 star reviews but maybe they're bots pumping numbers up or naive people who have never actually tested it.

It's so dangerous, particularly for young and older women to believe this product will help them in a defensive capacity. At best you dye your aggressors so they can later be identified.

Lol. I checked the laws where I'm at and you just have to have a reasonable reason to be carrying it and I think you have to be 18 y/o.

Funny story, one time I accidently CS gassed my whole house. I was making Chinese hotpot and using some super spicy Thai Chilli peppers.

The fumes literally had me in tears, even my skin felt a moderate burning sensation - extreme irritation to the eyes, mouth and nasal cavities. You couldn't go into the kitchen for almost two days without starting to cough, choke and tear up. It was so bad my dog vomited (which I felt terrible about).

Maybe I'll make my own. The thing is, I'd need a sprayer with some decent velocity that deploys in a concentrated stream. Otherwise you might incapacitate yourself if the wind's not in your favour or something.

The last day on my last stay in Norway I found Bear Spray 7 tried to buy some but the guy refused to sell it me for some reason.

A woman I know who lives right in the middle of the Chinese area of Vancouver had to Bear Spray a guy who tried to rob her, that stuff is Brutal.

I tired to do the same thing & like you said I failed to get enough power to really spray it, the best bet is a can of Hair Spray, I PROMISE you that stuff in the eye will stop anyone who wished to do you bad.



What part of Europe you live at, I was sure you were English for some reason.

I reside in France. Also you're not mistaken, I have dual citizenship; UK/US.
 
Okay so I'm 38 and about as low-key socially as it gets, like my circle is more of a line, me and my single daily-life friend/on-again off-again weed dealer, a nineteen year old kid I worked with briefly earlier this year. He's exactly half my age, archetypal wook/dreadneck-hippy with enough maturity to be genuine beyond his years - usually. Only known him six months, got love for the fucker, but I had to tell him about himself earlier yesterday afternoon. Long and short, I got too little time or patience nor the luxury to deal with people who don't follow through on their word. I put trust and planning and action or inaction in on what a man tells me he's gonna do, and that shit needs to match up at least most of the time, and when you start seeing patterns of that not happening, there's an issue. Made all the more maddening when a person lauds your every word, your vast experience, always talks about myriad business plans to take on with YOU, yet won't move or follow through on shit, which not a big deal - until you've been paid to do so. Nicely. And didn't. Then, there's an issue. Probably a good thing the heat was handled over mobile first lol, but i think the face-to-face was constructive, that i may have gotten through. That said, we'll see.
 
Passed by a tent encampment that we deliver supplies and saw police and city workers throwing people's tents and belongings into the trash. Broke my heart, that's all these people have and with no notice they lost it all.
Our shelters are full so where do they expect people to live? It's in an area with no houses around so I don't understand why and it really pissed me off. Nothing is being done to help these people even though taxes are increasing
