The Photography Thread: Double Exposure

The first pic is great, I can just imagine what the cats thinking spoken in a purry lazy cat like voice 'Hmm yes I'm going to eat this and there is nothing you can do to stop me'

My cat loves chilli Doritos but she only licks the flavour off them and leaves the actual crisp.

My cat loves crisps. If she sits and is well behaved we give her sone now and then.

^Apart from the times a cat takes in live mice & birds for "sports day", when or how does a cat misbehave?

You run a very tight ship there if the cat has to behave, or are you talking about the hissy fits & door slamming phase that young cats go through? :D

loll
wel if she starts miaowing and clambering over us to get the crisps or stickher her nose the the bag I count that as misbehaving. And she know's she's being naughty too, because if you say sit to her she'll usually sit and wait.

Not mine...(but oh how I wish it was ;))
I just love the contrast and vibrancy of the colors!

I had a call earlier, apparently I was due to start my photography course today. I guess I should have let them know earlier I wasn't planning on going anymore, I don't even have a camera as I gave it away.

My interest in photography was rather short lived. :\
what the fucking fuck!

how did i miss this? spade you wee radge, what's the story? that was a fucking great wee camera, how could you have just given it away???

who did you give it to? what caused this lack of interest?

an interest in photography is something you can (should) have for the rest of your life. it's a skill that doesn't necessarily need a course, it's something that you can pick up easily after a few pointers.

so get that camera back right now or i will slap you silly like a fucking red-heided stepchild!!! :!

What is there to explain.

I was interested in taking 'snaps' (chortle). Now I'm not so I gave my camera to someone who'ld get better use out of it than me.

Some would say I'm all <3. :D

sorry, but the concept of just suddenly losing interest in photography does not compute with me. :) what caused this to happen? were your photos so shit that it put you off the whole thing?

i know it's not for everyone, i'm just confused, that's all. :)

I don't see how anyone could lose interest in photography. There's always something different to be taking pictures of, whether it be spontaneous or planned. It's weird, sometimes i'll go out and i'll get absolutely rubbish shots, no matter how good the subject is, but other times it's all good or you'll get one amazing shot in the midst of absolute wank, that's when it starts being proper rewarding. I do a bit of film stuff as well and it's such a buzz to pick up your prints and see what you've got, bloody expensive though. Shall hopefully be developing my first b/w film at college next week, excited for that.

Felix, am i right in thinking you've got a 400d? If so what lens you got?

my brother cletus has a 400D but i've got a 450D. we've both got the 18-55mm kit lenses and i've just ordered a 75-300mm zoom lens which should arrive just in time for my siberia trip on friday. :D

I have a 450 as well, got the basic kit lens. Was a toss up between the 75-300, but decided to pay a bit more and get the 70-200 L series. It's only when you get decent glass that you realise how rubbish the kit lens is. Heard good reviews for the 75-300 though, hope you have fun with it!
