The Phish "Coventry" Trip Report [excessive drug use, photos, and a video]

Pretty good. They played a couple of the songs from Undermind, and at that point I hadn't heard Undermind yet, so I didn't really feel like I could appreciate those ones as much as I would have liked to. They played an AMAZING Piper though, plus a few of my personal favorites (Runaway Jim, David Bowie, and Wading in the Velvet Sea for an encore, which was awesome :) ). I'd say it was an above average show.

The second night was a little better though, IMO, so good choice :)

Gotta do it. Reading this report again after listening to the second night brought me back to the muddy tarp i stood on all afternoon and night. Magical. Great job BD. Never stop amazing me with the reports. Keep it up
 
ha. that reminded me of fear n loathing in las vegas. you gobbled down just about everything n anything you could find.

anyway. awsome trip report. now i wanna go to something like that...
 
that was an amazing read. i was listening to a live Breakfast recording when i read that. That "tripple-fluf" dose sounded really good. too bad you couldnt get more.

I was at Coventry as well, it was a blast, but the music (save for 1 or 2 good moments) was absolutely awful. For the band to go out like that was just sad for me. It seemed like there was a lot of tension at the end up of the second night, like people were in shock and angry at the piss poor effort put out by Trey. Jon, Mike and Page were awesome as usual.

Really good, very entertaining and enjoyable! It really has bolstered my desire to try opium-lol (I kinda have the possibility to atm). When you smoked it with the weed, were you using a pipe or what? And how did you light it if so, coz I heard you should smoke opium with an indirect flame?

Yep, saw this pop up today and hadn't read it yet. Good read. Generally the same thing I went through this summer in regards to String Cheese.

Is there a way to see the video anymore?

LOL turns out that "opium" was Laxmi-Dhoop incense.
