Sounds very fishy to me, Xork. I can't imagine having to pay shipping on a piano through Liberty Reserve; most people don't even know what Liberty Reserve is...

A Steinway is an investment, so it will end up adding to your net worth. So even if you have to take out a loan and pay for it over time, it will still be a smart financial decision, so don't stress.

Plus why would someone give away an 1898 Steinway grand piano? I'd cut my leg off for that piano, and my piano playing repertoire is limited to Grateful Dead covers and a few Gershwin tunes. :D I can only imagine the demand for that piano among professional players, especially considering how newly produced Steinways are generally considered acoustically inferior to older ones.

But seriously, IMO two plus two is adding up to three in this situation, be very careful not to get burned. Best of luck friend. :)
 
Yes really fishy, in my limited experience with things that seem to good to be true is that usually they aren't.
Tough luck he had to be that way Xorkoth but I would probably try to find a way that includes
a safety net. If he doesn't go for that has to be the definititive red flag, otherwise I really hope your wife enjoys the grand piano! As I have been playing them (piano's in general) for literally 80% of my lifetime the warm hearts carried for it are not lost on me. :)

I'm also thinking about picking up an MAOi and consuming a low dose DMT trip. I love the feeling of a ++ on DMT. I could see it having as beautiful of a trip as many of my shroom experiences.
 
Yeah sounds fishy man. I know what you mean about desire overriding reason. I've gotten myself in binds with that mode of thought.

I would definitely require that a papertrail be left. Liberty Reserve or any of that stuff would be a no-go.

It's a little out there but eh, cheaper than getting burned; New York isn't that far away from you. Maybe tell him you'd like to meet him and see this piano. Drive up there and from there you can make the exchange and arrange with a shipping company in person to get it to NC.

Well, it's my birthday today. 22 years old. :)

I might be going to my friends place and taking some methylone tonight. I feel pretty crappy from that little bit of alcohol I had yesterday. I'll see how things go.

edit: Also, is the "Nice List" just the new term for bluelighter? Or does it have a different meaning? I ask because some people are still "bluelighters" and others are on the "Nice List".

Thanks man, It's a balmy -1 and sunny. 20km/hr winds for a windchill of -7. A hell of a lot better than the last few days.

I was also wondering why some still had Bluelighter under their names (they weren't naughty people), what answer did you come up with?

I'm really wondering what is going on inside my body. I haven't felt good since last week but I also haven't been completely sick either. It feels like my body is fighting something. That alcohol last night (2 measely glasses of wine) did me in. I had trouble falling asleep, woke up halfway through the night, frantic dreams. Then I woke up feeling run over by a truck today. I had a shower which made me feel a bit better but I'm questioning whether I should take that methylone tonight.
 
Yeah Pepper its actually alright out here today, yesterday was absolutely freezing. I figured the people who still had bluelighter under their name were "naughty", who knows..

Also those cakes are so friggen awesome! I want one!
 
may that means they received an infraction or warning or something at one time

last night when I was on 2c-e everything I looked at started developing these mandala like patterns all across them. The seemed like they were living and breathing and they would change designs and incorporate themselves into other objects. It was probably one of the most beautiful things Ive ever seen , i think that i just found a new favorite psychedelic :)
