This thread is for all your questions on chronic and acute pain management with emphasis on the first. Do make sure to post a question , You can ask other for an opinion on what meds would work for you , dosage , side-effects , comparing different medications etc.

Me too, I save so much money on therapy by BLing instead, I fucking love our community here and give back to it as much as humanly possible
 
I'm feeling ok. This has been a good day. My pain has been low and meds have covered my pain. I have been more productive and happy. It's been a good day.

Been an up and down day for pain. Need to schedule a CT scan to see if this bloody fusion is holding.

Anyway, hope everyone has had a decent day.
 
Been feeling so shitty the doctor resheduled again. Now I am close with my neurosurgeon and Ill have to call him on his cell and make an appointment with him
 
i get oxycodone xanax promethazine claratin and zyprexa but i'm gonna ask my doc for 8mg of zanaflex 3 times a day that should help the pain quite a bit right it's been too long since i've tried zanaflex fo i can't exactly remember how well it will relax my muscles so i can exercise more
 
I have to go see 2 drs next month for examination for disability.

I'm nervous about that. Any pointers? Anybody had to go through this?
 
I could use all the info I can get. One dr is for my pain legs hip back ect and the other is for anxiety.

I will talk to my lawyer who is unrelated to the case too.

I just want all the info I can get. I read a lot about it on line.
 
Short reply as posting from phone on public transport.

Saw GP this morning. Reluctantly agreed to see a new person as the current one is on holiday at the moment (like the rest of the country).

Was v nervous before going in - always feel like your fate is bound up in the hands of an unknown person.

Things the doctor did not say: "You're too young to be on this many meds", "The pain clinic is wrong, someone as apparently functional as you shouldn't be on all of this."

Things the doctor did say: "You're in an incredibly tough situation.", "You were right to come and see me."

Things I left with: A script, restored faith in humanity. And even to some extent the NHS.

how is everybody? Im having an awful day, full body muscle seizures that have me reduced to tears. My cpn is really mad that my dr wont help. Hope everyone else is doing better than me
