ok, let's face it. there are a few people that declare/support a bunch of moronic and very dangerous activities here. fortunately, I'm sure that we all know who we're talking about here and have enough common sense not to listen to them. Also quite fortunately, they seem to only post in the DOC thread (seriously...what's the deal with that? it seems like all the irresponsible jackasses LOVE the DOC). This actually brings about a possible solution, kill the thread. Although, I fear that this may just lead to a general downshift in quality for the rest of the threads (could it really get any lower?). So I guess the DOC thread should remain open just so that the idiots can really duke it out and we can declare who's the true winner of this stupid competition. My way of dealing with it: making posts like this.

my only real disappointment at this point is that I don't know anyone's real name so I can take no joy in finding out that they've been the newest recipient of a darwin award.

ok, as long as I'm already on a rant, I may as well explain one thing. In anticipation of a number of "just fucking leave then" replies, here is my reason for staying on bluelight. first, there are a few individuals on this forum whose input I truly enjoy reading. While they are severely limited in numbers and seem to be rapidly diminishing, they are, at the moment at least, still here. Second, bluelight has the most first-hand information on many of these highly unresearched chemicals. in essence, I'd rather let one of the reckless jerks ramp up these drugs to obscenely high levels than find any possible toxicity problems myself.

I think I should add at this point, that I do not in any way blame the current state of affairs on the mods. I don't envy their position in any way and do feel that they are doing a good job at keeping this an open forum where people are free to both find and give whatever information needed.

I haven't read yet(don't have time now) all this thread but I have some questions and please reply if you have had any experience with it.

1. What is your favorite dose of DOC.
2. How much is needed to get +3
3. Compare it to LSD or any other psychdelic.
4. How long it and how strong it is with 2mg, 3mg and 5mg

Answer's is really needed.

anyways, over on another forum there was a 15 year old talking about how his friends took 10, and 25mg of DOC respectively and ended up in the hospital.

DOC is too widespread already.
 
I'm pretty sure all these responsibility based drug consumption problems sort themselves out in the end. Darwin award shit.

I just hope that when the names are called, mine's not among that number lol
 
I haven't read all this thread but I have few simple questions...

1. How much is needed for one to get +3 or full effects
2. Compare it to some RC or LSD or Mushroom.
3. How is it's visual side and how is audio effect.
4. How much in your opinion is light, medium, strong doses in mg(I have read erowid but I need personal opinion)

THIS post earlier in the thread summarized reported doses and errata up to that point.

THIS is a link to data from an ongoing survey on effects and side-effects.

Cliff’s Notes version? Very powerful stuff. It should not be toyed with or engaged without respect. Some find notable effects in sub-milligram dosing. Some may need more due to a range of factors. Shulgin recommends a dose of 1.5-3.0 mg. Erowid records dosing as 1.0-5.0 mg. This writer found the average reported dose to be around 4 mg. for most of the folks here (Though this is probably to the high-end for many). It can be VERY long-lived for some. If you are unable to accurately measure in the single milligram range &/or are unwilling to do so, please mind-wipe yourself and pretend you never even heard of DOC.

DOC can be very enlightening... it's just hard to find that side of it. It's also very noisy mentally, which makes it difficult to make use of the state. I used to think it was pretty much mentally useless also... but my last trip on it shattered this notion. For me, each time I've done it it's gotten clearer, and last time was definitely profound.

But I absolutely agree that it's far too widespread, and far too easy to abuse. And dumbass destructive high schoolers seem to love it.
 
^To be honest I'm predisposed to be anti-amphetamine anything. That is to say basically I'll give it a shot but if it displays any of amphetamines negative aspects then I just don't want it. I felt DOC displayed too many of those symptoms to warrant trying it further, I knew it was not for me. I cannot understand people who make comparisons to LSD though.
DOM is one psych amphet i can enjoy and it's a good un but it doesn't compare to acid at all.

I can see where the comparison to LSD comes from, because there's a certain feel to it that's quite similar when you break through into the profound state. But I agree, it's really not much like LSD at all at its core. It lacks the clarity and emotionality, for sure, and it's definitely significantly different. I enjoy it greatly but it's slightly alarming sometimes... it feels pretty easy on my body, but something about the unrelenting intensity and inability to be fully conscious creeps me out.

It does probably help that I really, really enjoy amphetamines, too; though DOC is very unlike amphetamine in my opinion, it has several characteristics of it that come out sometimes.
 
I think that DOC can be englightening. But even if it weren't, you have to accept the fact that people are going to do drugs for various purposes and you can't really be the judge to stop them. Look at alcohol, for instance.

I have found that DOC can produce an effect similar to amphetamine (although I have never done any kind of amphetamine, I'm pretty sure I know what it would be like). But, that has to do with set/setting. I've had a trip (low dose - 2 mg) where I was really jacked up, and I went to the gym and had an amazing workout. But, with my other few trips with DOC, I didn't feel edgy at all and was completely chill.
 
DOC is quite dissimilar to actual amphetamine. There are several extremely vague similarities, but amphetamine is much more purely euphoric and gives you an immense amount of energy. The high feels more purely pleasurable by far. Amphetamine is the shit... but quite pointless, ultimately. Pure hedonism, unless you have a specific purpose for using it towards utility.
 
I received a letter from a old friend today. Inside was some blotter paper with this 2,5-dimethoxy-4-chloroamphetamine. He says that it should be a lot like LSD but with less of a 'down' but to be prepared to not be able to sleep for a good while.
I just ingested my first two hits and decided to go on erowid and peruse the internet and see what should be excepted and I stumbled upon this site.

So this is my hello.

I'll be sure to keep you posted on how the night unfolds.

I don't imagine it'll get any better either. DOC is just so friendly and perfect at low doses, people wont be able to resist getting retarded selling and taking it.
