Anyone else here combined DOC with LSD? I mean, I'm kinda expecting someone to have done it already, but couldn't see anything while reading the last few pages of the thread.
I had 4 mg of DOC and about 800 mics (rough guesstimate, no I wasn't expecting the hits to be so strong :P) of Acid at a party recently, and had a uh, quite breathtaking trip. Pretty much everything i saw had only the faintest resemblance to reality, and the comeup/egodeath was definitely the scariest thing in my life (very introspective/scary). Afterwards the euphoria was gigantic though.
Also the visuals were unlike anything i've ever seen. I barely get visuals from either LSD nor DOC (cept for the sharper vision and the "colourful stuff" flying around) but this was amazingly real, think of the scene in Fear & Loathing when they check into the Hotel. (Well it was zombies instead of reptiles, but the rest was quite close) ;)
 
I dont really see there being too much potential for problems with DOC. Its gentle in the way that if someone is the hardhead/asshole type that'll overdose themself, they are probably the type that won't notice a high of that nature anyway.

It does last a while, though.
 
I took 4.5 mg DOC recently. I don't think this is a full blown TR, so I will just post it in here.

I had previously taken it at 2,5,2,2 mg over the course of a few months. This was by far my best trip, and it's all about set and setting.

I went to a local park where you can climb to the top of a mountain, and by the time I reached the top I was peaking. Before the peak, about 1.5 hours into it, I went to a restroom and got some OEVs from the tiles. I could see two sets of the lines between the tiles, the hallucinated set of lines were glowing and off-centered.

During the peak, I was the highest I had ever been in my entire life. I was listening to the Beatles and just overlooking our city and the rivers and forests around it. When I closed my eyes, I would get spinning fractals of all different colors, mostly red or green. When I looked at the clouds, the tips of them would spin. While on DOC, all of my visuals OEV or CEV spin at the same rate and it is pretty slow.

At T+5 hours I drove back home in very congested streets. This was probably not the smartest thing to do, but I made it home with little trouble. I didn't fall asleep until T+18 hours, and that was probably just because I had been lying in bed with my eyes closed for about 4 hours.

Overall, I realllly love this chemical. It gives me 4-6 hours of complete happiness and some pretty neat spinning visuals. The only downside is that after the plateauing peak(however you want to describe it), I am left in a state for many hours(~10) where I am still tripping, but it is pretty pointless and I can't go to sleep if I am trying to.

Besides the length, the only other drawback is that I will get the strangest feeling headaches for a minute or so, but they go away and I'm back to being just super high and happy. Kinda makes me wonder if this is frying my brain....but anyway it's really fun to do every now and again.

after reading the 'DOC Warning' post and the above, i give up.

the internet must be destroyed, there appears to be no other solution.
 
^Calm down. I think I didn't come across as clearly as I wanted to. I was not the highest I had ever been in my entire life by the time I got behind the wheel. It was about 2 hours after that point and I had come down significantly. I have used this chemical a few times before, and I knew I would be able to make it home without a problem. It doesn't affect my coordination at all.

Also, anyone that takes a 'research chemical' is risking frying their brain. I just worry a lot. I even fear for my brain when just smoking bud.

I didn't kill anyone. I do not feel any after effects. And I don't have any more DOC. So that should make you happy.

Ever heard of DDAAM? "Drunk Drivers Against Angry Mothers" . . . fact is that driving under the influence of whatever is largely frowned upon, so it's quite normal that people will have a go at you if you admit to it. And it's frowned upon for good reason. I'd rather drive drunk than drive tripping even. Admitting to driving under the influence of psychedelics in any case doesn't help reduce the stigmatisation psychedelics usage is victim to in our society.
 
I admit I tried to drive to a friends house about 3 miles away while on my 13th hour of DOC, I was told to go left,right then make a final left and I would be on the highway. well I took the right at the end I went down about 100 yards and got so wigged out. it was pure hell. I had my friend get in the car and hurry to come and get me. All I could tell her was "live oak church" thank god she knew where I was. I was about to get out of my car and start walking. DRIVING WHILE TRIPPING IS FUKIN STUPID.

Anyone think that while tripping you actually are able to see whats really there, and your body, or brain is what keeps that world behind closed doors until you break the barrier with a psychedelic drug? I think thats what is really going on out there. We are just not allowed to see it. (im not high) im at work. I watched a tree for about 25 min yesterday and it seemed as though it was growing the whole time. But can you actually see a tree grow, yes over time it will get bigger but do you ever see it change. It had energy flowing through it the whole time. And had a lakeside view

Since psy's kinda push our awareness BEYOND the material manifestations of our world in order to allow us to glimpse other, parallel realities more clearly (spiritual, emotional, ethereal, etc.) it is kinda obvious that we're well advised not to undertake any risky / dangerous activities in the material plane (in the physical world). I think this includes operating heavy machinery, driving, and the like . . .

Once on mushrooms my friend and I watched the lawn in his backyard growing. We could literally see each new cell being produced. At the same time, a partially transluscent caterpillar was eating this blade of grass, as it was growing, and each bite travelled down its body as a faint green ball 9since we could see through it), and diffused into each part of its body.
 
Yea, I realize that it was a bad thing to do. It is against the law to drive under the influence of any mind-altering substances. But, I had to get back home at some point, and I wasn't going to come down much more than I had within the next 8 hours or so. And I was not even close to being as discoordinated as I would be if I were drunk. But yea, I definitely won't do it again, and I am somewhat lucky for arriving at home unscathed.

But to stay on topic, DOC is an amazing chemical. It has allowed me to see great beauty in the world, and let me know how I should always have a positive outlook, because every moment of pain/worry/etc. is just a state of mind. It's not like I didn't realize these things before, but I have now actually witnessed and felt it. I'd compare it to the difference between reading about Jesus making the blind see in the Bible and believing it because of faith, and then actually being a blind person who has been healed.

All of that just from swallowing a few specs of powder almost invisible to the naked eye.

I have taken upto 5 mg, and only at that level did it get somewhat confusing. At 4.5 mg my mind wasn't in any state of confusion, but my thinking was altered, only for the better. Insomnia is impacted by the dose as well, I am able to sleep any time after 4-5 hours if I only took 2 mg, but at 4.5-5 mg, I can't sleep for almost 20.

I have never taken it less than 2 weeks apart, so I doubt it's tolerance that let me take as much as I have. I might have a weak batch (had a friend that took 15 from this batch and although he said it was insane, he didn't go to the hospital or anything), or I am just slightly more hard-headed than other people when it comes to DOC.

Please elaborate, perhaps in another thread.

I would very much like to know how someone possibly losing their concept of self and awareness of surroundings is a much safer driver than one with impaired reaction times. (Not that I'm condoning drunk driving, I'm just curious why peopel get this idea, because its fucked up).
 
I'd would agree that driving while lightly tripping is safer than driving while drunk. However, driving while fully tripping can be far worse. Then, not only will you possibly lose all touch with the outside world entirely, but you may even decide to do something totally dangerous on purpose because you thought it seemed fine at the time. Tripping hard is really no time to be doing anything at all remotely dangerous.
 
I know when I was riding in the car going back home I was thinking I might be able to fly,and almost contemplated jumping out. I know I have heard stories of people jumping off roof's and shit it can really happen I think. When that thought jumped in my head I blocked it out and just imagined myself riding on the roof of the jeep :) tripping is crazy sometimes.
 
I dont know about saftey issues, but driving while tripping is way more fun than driving drunk... all those pretty lights...
