The Old and Overgrown 2C-E Thread

^I agree completely that 2c-e is a cold material. My only "real" experience with 2c-e has been at an unkown amount around 30mg. Theres no emotional push with this compound, your tripping and you know it... thats it. Visuals were much like acid, infact almost exactly like some acid trips, without the mindfuck.

At only one point I thought i was going to enter into another reality. However someone got me out of my little trance by opening a near by door, sad.

The last 2 and a half hours felt like a come down of a crack binge... not fun.


2C-E is a very odd chemical in my opinoin. To some it shows it's true colors, to others it sits back and provides visual disturbance. It seems that the sweet spot is around 16mg and that I have pushed it's limits.
 
I've taken 2C-E twice, and the first time, I was listening to Airdrawndragger by Sasha, and the subsequent 3-hour post-orgasmic bliss that caused me to tear apart the plastic covering on a pull-out bed, and writhe around in orgasmic bliss, was intense.
INTENSE.
Who wouldn't want that?
I came to a point of realization that everything was cool, and that my anxiety finally dissolved away as I did not need to concern myself with everything around me, and to try and make it all better, or keep it from getting worse. It just was. A very, very magical experience that can only be described as indescribable.

The next time I tripped, I thought that I was going to die because I perceived heart pain, when in actuality, I was just fine. Then the cable man came (which I had completely forgot about), so that was interesting. I seem to be able to still function mentally, it is just really slow and arduous. :P
 
^^ How much did you take to reach that orgasmic bliss state? I got that exact same effect at 25mg. It was so good it actually hurt a little.
 
I've never heard of any other problems with 2c-e except those that are produced by too strong experiences (vomitingin the beginning for some, panic for others). It has been very popular here and I'd say me and a few dozen friends and acquintances have consumed more than 500 trips of 2c-e. Mostly good or extraordinary experiences.
 
just a note: daily atomoxetine (strattera) (80mg) seems to...blunt/filter/whatever (? not cut off, it just seems to slow it down, there's a little less of it, it feels less out of control?) the internal monologue / psychedelic train of thought bit of the trip. less "static" and...i dunno, just feels like there's "less" of something...

otherwise, there seem to be no noticable effects on the body feelings or visuals in either positive or negative directions.

not sure how atomoxetine interacts with other drugs, but it's definitely feeling very different from past times i've taken 2c-e.

Look,I had the worst psychedelic experience of my life on 2c-e,i actually felt physical danger(shortness of breath,dizziness(on the verge of fainting,nnassty bodyload....residual effects)I don't think these reportd of cardiac problems should just be dismissed.I'm interested in hearing other peoples experiences with cardiac/respitory problems assssociated with 2C-E

How much did you take? Maybe it's a dose matter... Or maybe it's just all psychological. Some times i thought my heart rate was too fast, but when measuring it was ok.
 
I took a good dose of 2C-E a while back. Man, what a day. The first half hour to an hour was hell in my stomach. That was the only thing I didnt enjoy on it, was the excrutiating pain it brought me in the beginning. But after that, it was awesome. And as intense as it was, I had an eighth of mushrooms handy, so i decided to chomp it up. At first I was hesitant, because the trip was already crazy, but the friend I did it with started munching down on some psilocybe, so I was like, eh... why not. MAN!!! WHAT A CRAZY FUCKIN COMBO!! I tripped really hard for a long time. Mad visuals (open and closed), muscle tension and some of my back ached, but it was easy to ignore, I definately had the trisma effect going, and I dont think I've seen my pupils that big since I candyflipped on some great cid from the dead show & some pure molly! 2C-E was just great and definately a favorite out of the 2C-chems. But I've heard it's an amazing combo with 2C-I... hmmm, must try that sometime...

2C-E is definitely one of the best! I put it on the same level as things like LSD, and DPT. Very profound, deep, complex trip. For me anyway. Of 2C-E...the first hour is very rough. But by the peak, any sign of physical side-effects dissipates. At least for me. Though I still enjoy 2C-T-7 better! The emotions and colorful visions of 2C-T-7 have not been topped by any synthetic I have tried.

I was present during that experience and I also had much of the same. I believe his dose was 22-24mg and mine was 26-28mg.


It was an unbelievably intense experience.

But Phoenix, we were listening to Carbon Based Lifeforms when it started. The Nader wanted to listen to Airdrawndagger so she could have a plur torrent of her own. :)
 
Yea, the smell thing.

My flatmate commented on this the first time she tried 2C-E. She was walking home from a club and it was a typical chilly, grey London morning. She walked past a shop and there were these red roses. She said that the redness of the roses and the smell of them just kind of jumped out at her, really strong, like a splash of colour on a black-and-white photo.

But she's since had a similar enhancement of smell on 2C-B, 2C-I and more recently, 2C-T-7.

I get enhancement of smell on 2C-E as well. But then, these compounds enhance all modes of sensory input. My thing is music, I love listening to it and making it..... and I find 2C-E to be absolutely wonderful for auditory enhancement.

2C-E is just so good in so many ways (for me at least). It hasn't got the 'pushiness' of LSD. It's relaxed and deep, visual, sensory, reflective, long-lasting.... and with no hangover. One of my favourites.

The self’s, self-defenses that makes the first dose or two taken, seem not as strong/mind-blowing, of and experience.

The more comfortable you feel; and after the anxiety of taking something very new have gone away. This could be when our self-defenses turn off. This is when the power of 2C-E really shows itself.

I think when you go into any trip with the fear of the unknown i.e. is it real, is it going to kill me, did I take to much, does my scale work etc....our mind puts up blocks. (I did not think this my first time thou)

My first time researching 2C-E i took 22mgs and it did kick my ass; A plus ++++ indeed! However, the next time I became cautious and took 16mg.
I felt it but it was northing like the 22mg experience! Then I did it again, the same size dose of 16mg, this time I was anxiety free. 2C-E kicked my ass again.
Again, just like my 22mg dose, most profound, 2C-E is.

Now that it is going on one year from the last time, I am planning to do 16mg again just to make sure. I completely trust 2C-E and its abilities, as a teacher/allies/hallucinogen.

I do remember once have'n a very realistic hallucination on 2C-E>
The last time I took it.
I saw many very bright large green almost florescent ANTS about a foot around! WOW

I've also noticed heightened smell/senses on 2c-e. Probably the most interesting synesthesia I've experienced is a mix of touch and taste. While I was feeling soil with my fingers, a half-chewed cracker in my mouth started to taste like soil in my mouth. It actually wasn't all that unpleasant, it was more entertaining.

Also, I've noticed my sense of taste just completely getting mixed up with 2c-e. I was eating chicken and it tasted like celery. Very interesting.
 
the miprocin audio effect is in a league of its own, very different from 2C-E. 2C-E makes me dive in an ocean of sound, and every onther sense blends with it. Miprocin seems to be more visually connected to music. i seldomly listen to music with vocals though, but just loud (agitated) voices seem to have this shooting effect for me too. the music effect reminds me very much of mushrooms (surprise), insofar that typical tryptamine egoless float trough a visual soundworld, but it still has this unique edge, hard to catch in words.
i havent got much experience with miprocin yet, only three trips, highest dose 20mg. a very interesting compound nonetheless
 
my hampster dosed 16 mg of 2ce, will eating another 4mgs escalate the high if done about 2-3 hrs in?
 
i had a rather unexpected meeting with miprocin yesterday, and to come back to the comparing of the sound effects to those of 2C-E; miprocin seems to have a more 'crystal' effect to it. it is more like standing in a great open plane listening to 'crystal structures' of sound. i said earlier it seems to have a more visual connectedness, but i'll have to retract that, this experience (18.2mg) was very emotional, sensual, with very little visuals infact, very intense too, it came quite close to 2C-E in that respect, but generally more unilateral (positive in this case), comparing to the rollercoaser ride 2C-E sometimes provides.

edit: on a side note, miprocin seems be very dose dependant for me; under 16mg the effects are generally consistent (only intensity goes a bit up) but it changed character rather touroughly at 18mg, and at 20mg it has again a completely different character. makes me very curious about the higher doses. better stop this before it goes completely off-topic =D

I'm wondering how 2c-e and 4-ho-mipt would be like .
lets say 10mg each. Taking the miprocin 2hours after 2c-e.

I tryed 2c-e again, after a few months away from it, @ 16mg, the other day.
My God how wonderful that was. I completely forgot how magical 2c-e can be.
There was alot of movement going on all around me; morfing and growing from everything in my field of view, and the color changing too. WOW

Music sounded so good! With out the music, i still could here so many different sounds all around me. something like those sounds on lsd i remember.

Has anyone experienced any strange auditory effects on 2C-E? I'm not referring to music specifically (though it sounds absolutely incredible), but to other auditory effects. I've heard whispering voices- which was just a little bit frightening, I'd say more extremely bizarre than actually scary.

I just had my first 2c-e trip, which was brilliant, a couple of days ago, and I did notice that little sounds --- the hum of the fridge, outside traffic noises -- seemed like songs. I kept thinking I'd left a radio on somwhere. Very much like Neo1's comment:
Everything gets all rhythmic. It's normally morning when I'm approaching the end of the plateau, and the sounds outside of the birds, cars, people leaving to go to work, street sweepers etc.... well they all kind of 'bunch-up' and come in waves, and these waves organise themselves into rhythms. Quite catchy tunes actually

It's an interesting phenomenon. Seems related to the visual wallpaper-tiling effects of the more powerful psychedelics. I really enjoyed listening to music, but not in an exceptional way. Would we call this "musicalization of noises"?
