after requests of ppls hijacking my thread, i thought it would be a great idea to install a system for bluelighters to seek work and offer work...

the system is simple, state at the top if you have a job offer JOB or if you are looking for a job WANTED.

post where you are located (or where u wanna work)

state what sort of job you are looking for or have to offer (lets not get into too much specifics though kiddies, remembering the whole legalities of this site..)

a little bit about yourself

and how much pay..

and after you have found that dream job/dream person for the job, delete your post so this thread doesnt get too big...

hmm...asking muzby's permission here (it *is* your thread), but what about making this a thread for jobs on offer in general? it might not work, because generally if someone sees a good job on offer they'll want to keep it all to themselves, but it's worth a shot.

basically, *i* need a new job too...i'll wait for muzby's approval/dissaproval before i go any further though :)

part-time or casual work within about twenty minutes (max) of melbourne. i'm really looking for work *in* the city, but i can't be too picky 'cause i can never find a job at all. dunno...looking for work in retail i guess. i'm also open to bar work, or similar, though i'm not *trained*. generally i pick things up reasonably quickly though, so i can learn :) ...or if anyone wants someone to do any writing for them (lol) i'm j00r man :D

i need a job much like onetwothreefour.
somewhere in melbourne city, full time, with flexibiltity to go down to part time when uni starts.

cash in hand would be great. and either retail or food prep etc. no maccas please. hehe.

i've had plenty of experience in a bar, but i need to get my RSA, and i've worked in a fast food shop before.

more about me....i'm trying to get into RMIT (i'm at the uni of tas at the mo)...hmm....should i put wanky stuff about how good i am??? well, i can say that i'm very adaptable and work well in such environments. unlike my school habits, i dont slack off in the workplace.

i'm gonna need a job starting around Nov 4th when i get to melbs.

Currently studying at uni of wollongong doing business/IT so something in that area would be ideal.
Able to work in a weeks time for 2 weeks full time, if training is required.

Dale is a recently qualified Graphic Designer (Shillington College), and he is looking for work around Melbourne.

He is competent in all the requisite graphic design programs, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark, and has a comprehensive portfolio of work to show to any prospective employers/clients.

He is an extremely talented artist with a young, hip, funky edge to his work. His business card logo is actually a tatoo design ;).

Atm he's doing freelance jobs at pissy rates for friend's businesses, so even if you need a logo/ business card designed, let us know.

I'm a qualified Graphic/Multimedia Designer. Have a degree in GD, previous employment in the private sector and public service, done freelance work and have studio experience.

Experienced in all the main adobe, macromedia and microsoft packages...have a passion for design in general, love doing digital illustrations of all sorts. My style suits a range of applications such as music/nightclub, corporate, promotional work, etc.

Looking ideally for work in a studio environment, but i am open to all sorts of stuff.

Engineering/IT project support role. Ideal for a contractor who needs to cater for clients with a general needs who are on a tight budget.

Graduated from with an Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems) in 1997. Since then I have had six years experience in the administration of NT/W2k servers, Wide area networks, Exchange 2k, MS Office 97->XP suites, occassional bit of C/C++/Pascal/Delphi, plenty of VB6/VBA/VBscripts and Oracle admin/support work, qualified and experienced PLC programmer and designer.

Dedicated hard worker. Regularly puts in 50+ hr week shifts.

Job in the Newcastle area after Feburary 10 next year. Bar work would be fantastic as on Feb 10, I finish my Food and Bev traineeshit (12 months full time work). "Other" work would be cool as well. Willing to do most things short of selling my body (though I've considered it). PM me if you have anything.
 
I got myself a job. Yay!

Pay is pretty reasonable too. Don't like the location too much, but at least it will get me out of my current role which doesn't have much room for growth and allow me to turn my career in a better direction. It's good but until the day I get my ideal job, I will keep my job ad here.

looking for a job so i can egt my ass over to europe next june... ummm holiday work probably, i work in camping store and im tres frindly, well presented, adaptable... all those things every one wants in an employee...

would prefer to work in retail. but i can handle foody stuff... i worked in a fish and chipper all of last summer, and i can use a coffee machiene...

ih yeh this is for Melbs... umm... yeh not too far from the south eastern burbs...umm... yeh please find me a job! i will love u for ever!

Need work desperatly in Newcastle

I'm moving in a week and I desperately need a job. My main strength is in barwork as I just finished 12 months of hell, working 37hours a week in a redneck pub for mediocre wages to get Certificate II.

I'm willing to do other work, as long as it pays the bills n' pills.
