If anyone is in need for a qualified mechanical engineer with 2 years post grad expirience then dropme a line. Though I'm guessing there isn't much need for one around these parts.
 
well i got an interview lined up :D

anyone got any tips for interviews other than "be early" etc
position is at galactic circus =D ( i can wear kandi at work ) but how do i dress for the interview?? neat casual with a touch of the bright side im thinking... but what are your views

any advice welcome
 
ok im posting for a good friend who is moving away :(

she is moving to canberra and needs a full time job there... no uni degree but experience as waitress and as shop attendant
18 years old, no licence

any1 at all got anything... coz its hard to find work in a different state

Che: A lot of places will hire applicants almost soley on the strength of their enthusiasm and personality. Keep that in mind when you're talking to them.
 
BLUELIGHT COMPUTER NERD WANTED :D

Job: Clean/reformat/whatever my virus-ridden PC. Right now I have run all my virus programs but something is STILL wrong with it and Internet Explorer won't run. I don't want to pay exorbitant fees to some rude, dismissive computer "expert" I don't know (and believe me I've chatted to a few on the phone) and would rather give my money to a bluelighter with the same knowlege who will treat me with respect. I know you guys are good at this stuff ;)

Where: Mulgrave, SE Suburbs (ideal for someone in my area if you're looking for some extra Saturday money for an hour or so's work) .

When: Has to be a Saturday, sorry. Any time after lunch. Soon preferably!

fill pr/marketing roles (or copywrite)

etc. etc.

may i suggest when u got some free time and access to the net that u apply online for colesmyer...
they do a cognative load test online which i'm sure u can ace then you just got through the head office interview and then wait for a call from a retail manager

i scored an interview for next fri for an alcohol vending position.

the other option it to get on to an agency... mid-year break is coming up so chances are they should have some well paid temping jobs
 
wanted- a piss easy job in sydney so i can move to sydney way soon and get the fuck out of brisbane.

on a serious note if ur begging for a job on this you might consider putting exp and qualifications up on this. might help a bit
also if you have an RSA certificate, try delawareor other catering companies. delaware is the company respincible for food and drink serving at melb park, mcg, etc. they also employ many students so they are fine with you only being available over the weekends...
just so u know, at 2 tribes.. when ur compleatly munted on the floor at rod laver arena and go to get a drink, thats delaware serving you.
 
i was driving last night and hit a big BUMP

i decided to take my own advice and now i am employed by delaware... if any1 in melb needs a gob i highly recomend you apply coz they are hiring like 1500 staff by the end of the year and the pay is pretty decent considering how much u slack off. they need the staff due to the fact that they've got the contract for the zoo just recently and they are also doing the commo games.

Well i walked out of my job last night...for a few reasons...ndidnt get requested pay rise, to much shit goign on there...and one of the owners hit on me and i rejected him.

Im still tossing up whether or not to turn up for my final shift saturday...leaning on a 80% fuck em so no...

Im not expecting to get nothing out of this but why the hell not...

That was sort of half joke, but looking at the prices out there, I'm half serious too ;)

Must see a portfolio though (don't expect you to have done weddings before of course, but any work you can show me).
