I think in the first couple of tests we tried the Offensive feild placings but the big hitting poms (Flintoff, Strauss, Peiterson) just belted us around the park making our feild positions kind of ineffective, which hasn't happened to the Aussies in a good number of years, which probably (undoubtedly) put us on the backfoot.swifty said:^^^ right on with the fielding placements, it was so un aussie to have a defensive field, like they were just trying to contain the poms rather than attack, so what if you stop some boundaries, you don't take wickets...
