^^^ Must admit it's great to see some sportsmanship creeping back into the Australians game. Gilly has definitely been a shining example among the Aussies, though i think it will take a bit more than a few random incidents to change the view that we are a bunch of sledging poorly behaved cricketing bully boys. There was a funny article in The Daily Telegraph today about how the Aussies aren't too happy at Singhs exploits in the sledging stakes.Link to article
Have to say it must be hard for bowlers not to show dissent when you have a giant screen at some venues pointing out what terrible decisions are made along with the batsmen.Vehrenda Sewag's lbw decision in the first test off what was a huge inside edge is perfect example. Would be interested to hear what other people think on expanding the view on the third umpire. Personally i wouldn't have them making anymore decisions than they now do, but when you see such blatantly wrong decisions it makes me wonder, but i think that it's the ability to cop the bad decision on the chin and get on with it without a fuss that will inevitably lead to better examples of sportsmanship on the filed as Kasper showed.
Is it me or does anyone else feel like this series is just too much like the last series which we really should have won. We win the first test, get in posistion to win the second then lose, then lose the final test in fantstic game that could have gone either way. A bit early to call, just glad this is a four test series.
