They're not trading Bosh, Pat Riley said it himself. The Big 3 is locked up, you're gonna have to deal with Bosh for as long as Wade and James are there.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bosh. He played with more heart in the Finals than LeBron, Wade, and Haslem combined. Chalmers deserves honorable mention. But to have 3 of the top 3 players in the game? I don't think Riley would hesitate should the opportunity present itself.
 
Nothings gonna happen for a long time its fuckin nuts that 2 of the biggest sports are in a lockout at the same time. I saw some guy on PTI yesterday saying that 20 out 30 NBA teams lose money every year I find that very difficult to believe.
 
^ i heard it was 22 out of 30, and it seems believable to me. many teams act like theres no such thing as a luxery tax

stuff like this just reaffirms how much people truelly dont realize how bad kobe's knees were this past season. the dude missed mountains of practices trying to save it for the games. A guy like kobe doesnt miss practices for no reason

also just how truelly amazing his last ring was. the guy averaged 30p 5a and 6r which is better than any player preformed in this years playoffs, all while needing extensive knee surgeries/having fluid drained weekly from his knee that was having irreversable damage brought on it.

shit like that is just otherwordly in basketball

if I don't kill myself, what will I do? what will you guys do with a lockout? will you actually try to advance your self/career, or spend time with loved ones more? this seems atrocious. why oh why oh why

How the fuck does Wade have a higher PER than MJ and Shaq? The Diesel scored more, rebounded more, had the same exact number of assists, and shot a higher %. Jordan scored 3.4 points less but shot a MUCH higher percentage from the field and had 7.6 more assists. The only slight edge he has over Michael is rebounding, so is that what put him over the top? 8)

PER is a crappy statistic: it rewards high-usage. Hollinger evaluates teams superbly but misses the mark on individual performance.

Come down to Miami with me and we can do it together. My girlfriend kind of wants to die too. I say a massive heroin OD is the way to go.

Or we can make a suicide bet on whoever wins the next Miami/OSU game. Whoever's team loses commits suicide, since it will spell the end of either team's season anyways, wtf would be the point of going on anymore?
 
Michael Beasley busted for weed again. He should ask for a trade to Denver or LA or Sacramento or GS and get a script for it, cuz he obviously prefers to be smoking. He may actually need herb. I'd hate to see another career destroyed by selective drug laws.

I guess they'd prefer him to be drinking.

The 2011 NBA lockout is a mere six days old, which means that we are way past due for a report of a league player getting cited for possession of marijuana. And now that I mention it, we are also (and always) way past due for a report of Michael Beasley getting busted for possession of marijuana — ideally by way of a Twitter photo. Supercool Beas satisfies all, with a slightly matured twist:

Minnetonka Police say Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley was cited for marijuana possession and speeding in Minnetonka last week.

Beasley was pulled over on June 26 for speeding around 3 a.m. on Interstate 394 and Carlson Parkway. He was clocked at 84 mph in a 65 mph zone.

Police also found 16.2 grams of marijuana in Beasley's vehicle.

Beasley will be fined for the petty misdemeanors, and of course David Kahn and the Timberwolves — who are reportedly looking to trade the third-year forward, anyway — can't do a thing about it. In one of Beasley's previous busts, he told reporters that he had learned from his mistake and that he could "only be cautious in the future." We suppose that a standard law enforcement bust is better than take-down via cell phone picture (see here and also here), so let's consider this progress for the reformed Supercool Beas.

Having a script won't protect him from NBA policy... with any job in MMJ states, they are legally allowed to fire you if you piss positive for cannabis, MMJ card or not.

Pot won't destroy his career... driving 20mph over at 3am while black in a nice ass car in Minnesota with pot might though. How hard is it to pay someone to drive you and go the speed limit to avoid this shit??
 
I highly doubt they are rare in the NBA. I'm pretty sure they just don't want to open up that can of worms.

The NFL has been smart enough not to. If you think baseball has a "steroid problem," you should see what these future NFL kids are doing all the way back to high school. Half my high school football team was on roids, and I think only a couple people moved on to Division 1 ball.
