the official 08 NBA playoffs thread

the Wizards, who have three all-stars, were shocked last night (and rather rudely) as to what it's like to play in the playoffs against an iconic mega-star. hit your first three in 6 attempts and mock LeBron James, and he will just go down the court and slam an impossible looking trey in your face. commit a hard foul, or no we change the wordage of hard fouls committed on LBJ to LeBron fouls, and he will take the ball down the court on a fast break and pass it to the Soviet bloc reject, Big Z, for a three.

Cleveland is the city.

Lets Go Magic!!!!! Oh my god Hedo Turkoglu is the man, looks like theyre calling this game kinda shitty though (refs).Oh my god, Dwight just dunked ALL OVER Chris Bosch!!32-16 Orlando.okay games getting a little close, we got this though. Holy crap, dallas is getting pwnd right now, sucks to be dirk nowitski, he's never going to get a ring. Dwight Howard=Unstoppable in the Post!! He reminds of Shaq but younger faster stronger, and can hit free throws. Thiis games coming down to the wire, some bad officiating towards the end but we win!!! 2-0 bitches :) 29 points 20 rebounds, first time in 40 years in the nba sum1 had back to back 20 rebound game playoffs.....Dwight Howard rising star......

This is the third year in a row they play each other in the playoffs. Cleveland has won the past two, and it seems they will win this one also. The wizards ran their mouths before the series, saying they hoped they would play Cleveland in the playoffs, cause they were a 500 team, and its not likely a team could beat them 3 times in a row.

When will teams realize, not to run their mouths about another team before you play them, because it gives them some extra pep in their step. Especially Michael Jordan the 2nd. You have to be some dumbasses to give King James ANY reason to come out and play harder than normal.

Although I will say, it makes the games more fun to watch. I just hope noone gets hurt, with all these LeBron fouls.

Congratulations Cavs fans, on your team winning two HOME games against a team that would have been an 11-seed in the West.

Good luck not getting swept by Boston.

At least you've got Ohio State football to look forward to.

Two more seasons until LeBron gets to play in a city that matters.

as a Knicks fan you should realize that LBJ is about four seasons away from signing into Jay-Z's (his buddy) pro-team. as a Knicks fan and LeBron James hater your heart must be torn in two at the acknowledgeable of this eventual situation.

but look on the bright side. chances are, you will develop an intimidating and formidable LeBoner in no time.

Cavs VS Boston will be a great series and of course I am scared of those powerful Celtics, but they do not have much playoff experience. Cleveland for sure has the ability to sneak up on them.

and we do have Ohio State football to look forward to, it is the best university for football in the free world.

Just say it - "I admit it - Kobe is better than LeBron" - ONCE.

Is that too much to ask a Knicks' sufferer who pounded tha table on Kobe since BEFORE he even got drafted.

(I obviouly can't PROVE this via BL, but search my Kobe diefication posts in years past, and you'll see I'm his biggest supporter).

Too bad my Knickess are in trouble for quite sometime.

Unless we heist the league's fourth best player (behind Kobe, Paul, Howard) from you in 2010!

I think it's hilarious to watch you all write off the Pistons after one lackluster effort. Philly really doesn't have a chance against Detroit, you all know that.

blah blah blah, the west is better than the east blah. kinda like the AFC is better than the NFC. well, we saw how that super bowl turned out. :\

i will admit boston is really fuckin tough and the cavs better play 110% if they wanna stay close to em.

no disrespect, but losing game one at home is a BIG DEAL. Having the fans at the palace BOO the home team is a big deal, i'm sure Detroit will find their way, mabey, but as an Orlando fan i'm going to tell you that IF Detroit can beat Philly, you got Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu, Jameer Nelson, and Rashard Lewis to look forward to :)

Kinda like when Philly stole Game One on the road against Kobe/Shaq, and then proceeded to get swept in the next four games?

Oh, wait - this time it's different.

This time Philly DOESN'T have one of the best players in the NBA in his prime on its team.

I'm sure they'll be just fine.

The mathematical chances of Cleveland beating Boston next round are approximately the same as the mathematical chances of the Cavs playing 110 percent.

So I guess, we finally agree.
