As a Giants fan I hate the Eagles but it was sooo great watching you guys destroy the Cowboys. I think you guys can take it to the Vikings in the first round but after that I think you guys are screwed.

Ravens by 10. mad respect to the Dolphins and their first year head coach's very intuitive offensive play calling - but I suspect Chad Pennington will crumble, eventually, in front of the Defensive Law Offices of Lewis, Reed and Co.
 
The Dolphins will beat the Ravens. Here's why:

1: The Dolphins lost to the Ravens in the first game of the season. However, the fins have improved vastly since then. Also, the Ravens were to first team to shut down the wildcat, which was kind of a shock that the fins never recovered from. After all, they were used to getting an average of about 10 yds every time they ran it. Now it is a good 4 plus yard running play, and an effective one at that.

2: The Ravens McGahee is not that good. He would have been better than AP had his leg not been snapped in two in the 2002 BCS NC game. Teams who can't run against the fins are in trouble.

3: Flacco is a rookie QB, and the Fins secondary has finally come alive. I know he is pretty damn good, but the fins secondary will give him fits if the run game is shut down.


Final score: MIA 17 BAL 14


UNLESS: Ed Reed returns an int for a td. Reed is the best player in the entire NFL.
 
I'm pulling for the Dolphins since I'm from South Florida (even though my real team is the Lions . . . .don't laugh, have pity please :( ).

Considering this is the 2nd time Ray Ray the Murderer and Co. have seen the Wildcat offense, I don't think the 'Phins are gonna be able to pull anything new outta the bag.

Defensive game, too close to call.
 
^ It was phenomenal. I did have to turn off the game, tho, because I can't stand Collinsworth. His voice triggers anxiety in me.

The Chargers are much better than their record indicates. Granted, I think the Ravens are better, but still.
