Raiders vs Cheifs* -4 even (I like Raiders. They will be able to run more)
Titans vs Bengals* -1.5 (Bengals, No vince and at Cinnci)
Vikings* vs Colts -2 even (Colts, Mannings's first week of anything last week)
Saints vs Redskins* -1 even (I dont know, Colesten hurt, I would avoid)
Lions* vs Packers -3 even (Packers, Lions bad defense is still here, go Rodgers)
Bears vs Panthers* -3 even (Panthers at home, other than that toss up)
Rams* vs Giants -9 even (Yeah Giants, no brainer)
Bills vs Jaguars* -6.5 (Bills, anyone else notice the Jag's O line is hurt)
Falcons vs Buccs* -8.5 (Falcons, No Garcia and Turner can run )
49ers vs Seahawks* -9 even (49ers, Seahawks arent who they where, great points too)
Dolphins vs Cardinals* -7 even (Tough one, I like over 40)
Pats vs Jets* -2.5 (I think Jets first home with Favre no Brady, they will get it)
Ravens vs Texans* -5 even (I like Texans, think offense had week start last week)
Broncos* vs Chargers -2.5 (WHAT!! Its in mile high....Broncos)
Browns* vs Steelers -5.5 (Steelers, no need to explain)
Eagles vs Cowboys* -6.5 ( My boys, in big D and offense has been unstoppable when they have been on field)

It was actually two touchdowns. One passing, one rushing, and one Lambeau Leap (after the rushing TD).

Rodgers did indeed look impressive. Those three years as a backup did him well. He got to learn and mature. It showed during the Vikings game as he didn't look like someone just getting his first career start. Very promising and makes me more excited to see how he does the rest of the season.

the raiders actually looked pretty good. ok, they were playing kansas city but, still, the d looked great and darren mcfadden's 164 yards were cause for optimism.

interesting week:

i wonder if the jets are gonna wise up and open up the offense now that they have the favre.

minnesota is the best 0-2 team in football. (there are plenty to choose from btw)

pittsburgh v. cleveland was just a boring game not a defensive shootout. braylon edwards is soft soft soft, but not in teh hands.

ed hochuli made the official who got the coin toss wrong ( steelers game a few thanksgivings ago) look like a genius.... still wouldnt fuck with that guy though.

lookin forward to mnf. i like the iggles to cover :)
 
what an awesome monday night game. for the longest time the eagles were moving the ball freely against the dallas d. props to dallas on their win.

oh, and desean jackson, you're a twit.

great idea ali! however i should be 1 and 2. blew both monday night games last week (dont know what i was thinking w/ the raiders) but i picked the eagles to cover last night and they did :)
 
I agree with the prediction thing, it's kinda cool, Also it should be done in the NCAA thread as well... I like it... Primarily because I'm not wrong yet.

It should also show how many predictions were made so that, someone who's only predicted maybe 3 games all year and were never wrong ( someone like me possibly ) and was right, isn't sitting on top of your chart.
 
I'm only going to make 3 predictions this week.

I'm going to go with Dallas, cause they're my team, I think they'll beat everybody... but that's a moot point, The Bears because for some reason they look too damned good to be the bears, and I'm going to throw the steelers over the eagles... and I have no idea why. That's just what my gut feeling is.

BUT . . . WITH Point Spreads, I hope.

Otherwise, on many games, we might as well be predicting whether or not the sun will rise tomorrow.

Outright win or lose, while NOT the best indicator of who's the best prognosticator, CAN be made to work . . .

. . . but ONLY if EVERYONE picks EVERY GAME.

Otherwise, give me the Cowboys, Colts and Patriots and ONLY the Cowboys, Colts and Patriots every game, and crown me champion right now.
