I think there is a strong possibility. Unless you are Buffalo or Carolina, there is not too much of a talent gap between teams in the NFL this year. Pitt is good, but not invincible. We will have to see what happens this Sunday.

It will be a good game for fans of defense, regardless of the outcome. Both teams are going to play extremely physical in order to protest the rule changes this week.

If, hypothetically, there was a game (for entertainment purposes only, of course) where one could wager against, say, a friend, and one person got to select FIVE NFL teams and the second person was "stuck" with the remaining 27 teams, and whoever has the team who ends up winning that year's Super Bowl WINS the wager, this is one of the only times in years where I'd prefer to be the second person.

There are literally 15 to 20 teams who could conceivably win the Super Bowl.

I, personally, do NOT like parity - but, alas, in today's NFL, it is alive and well.

I think that parity is the variable that has made the NFL the best professional sports organization, at least in the last couple of decades. sure, you have those perpetually successful franchises, but instead of gaining success through dropping millions of dollars these winning clubs have won due to consistently great front office and coaching decisions

it's nice to know that there is at least one sport left to where these factors matter

this year has been crazy so far, but I am enjoying it immensely because the league has shifted its focus back on defense, since the NFC has been failing with epic fashion at offense so far

all the more reason to join in on the fun, LL
