I just binged through all of season 3. I think it delivers.. there a bit longer (1 hour+) some have a lot of backstory added on which seems unnecessary. The first two season's felt a bit darker.. although there's a couple in the new season which stand out. I know Netflix bought the rights to the series so I expected some adjustment, but Charlie Brooker is still on as writer.
 
s03 first episode was great - dallas bryce howard did a great job.

i enjoyed the second episode less that the first but still good.

Been bingeing the fuck out of Weeds. Up to season 6. Great show, plot is bit flakey but the characters are all pretty cool. Great show to watch high :)
 
Weeds was aight. The part where the main character gets involved with that one dangerous dude and tries peyote was odd though, and was about where I broke off and stopped watching. Season 4 maybe?

Plus the kids came across as pricks.

I seem to be very particular about tv shows. I can buy into silly sci-fi but can't stomach certain dramas or comedies. Not sure what it is.
 
^Well, you know, either one would have been painted the same way for a television show. I've only seen one movie/tv show give an accurate portrayal of a psychedelic without going overboard, it's very uncommon.

I remember liking it best in the first two seasons myself.
 
I can't decide whether to watch Sons of Anarchy or not... Has anyone watched it? I checked it out a few years back but didn't really have the time for it then. But it has been reccommended to me a few times of late so I'm tempted. I think there is 6 or 7 seasons though which is a touch more than I prefer.

disappointed by the first 2 episodes of black mirror. noticed the movie black book is available - dats dope af
 
Only watched 2 or 3 episodes of the most recent season of black mirror and thought each one was mediocre. A little surprised it took two years to produce such poor entertainment. It wasn't so much that the plots were mundane, or acting sub-par; i think the directors failed to integrate each fragment into a unified whole.

(admiration for the futuristic, modish, harmonious, overtly digitized, cinematography)

for people who have watched the whole season, what was your favorite episode?
 
^ i really enjoyed s03e01 - nosedive. i also enjoyed the breezy, surreal feel of s03e04 - san junipero.

i thought it ended on a bum note as s03e05 - men against fire - and s03e06 - hated in the nation - were both sub-par episodes to me.

I dunno, I actually preferred it to S02. Perhaps slightly better production values. I like how it examines those unintended consequences of technology. Killer bees.
