The most important lesson psychedelics have taught you

that we're all connected, everything is one big system. that life is above Love, empathy, compassion, being content and happy, innerpeace and self acceptance. and that we're all gonna die, but not to be scared. theres other unexplaininable shit which ive been "told" from DMT and MXE as well, but generally its all opened me up, perhaps "enlightened" me and made me aware, and made me realized many things. and also realize the fact that we all know fuck all about anything, so just live and enjoy life in the short space of time we have on this tiny little spinning ball of rock that we have

a long with a lot of things other people said, i learned that I shouldn't let other people affect me as much, or not to care what other people are thinking. I think the most important lesson that psychedelics have taught me is to always look at things from another perspective. And it's not really a "lesson", but psychedelics have taught me to be more optimistic.

if you live in an apartment, chances are the neighbors can hear you doing whippits all night

Ah so so many things, but importantly dont laugh at others expense and to except the voice and opinions of others before being quick to judge!

- I cant have regrets. Everything I have done was the right thing to do at the time, if I didnt I wouldnt be who I am.
- Ended a fairly heavy MDMA addiction

I learned that everything is God. The same Self dwells in the heart of all beings. The power of prayer.

everything in life happens exactly how it's supposed to and nothing can change that.

so much of this world is fucked
such a shame, such a waste
the potential ... the potential ...
it seems so lost

EDIT.
the valuable difference between what you want and what you need
greed kills, literally

* The importance of "surfing on waves of the grey zone". The greater part of life isn't black or white, and being able to accept this is to overcome dualistic thinking. This has many practical applications - for me the greatest thing was helping me from the tragic process of always getting stuck in a rut as I emerged from a major depression.

* Putting chemicals which conform to certain structure activity relationships (thus binding to this or that receptor) can change my perception of reality. Personality and perception is malleable and this process is, in the end, an emergent phenomena based in the material world. I could never understand people who got more "spiritual" after taking psychedelics - for me, and so many others, psychedelics help you appreciate the beautiful universe without involving "god" in any other way than saying "hey, my brain was stimulated in such a way that I perceived that I talked to god".

we are nothing but creatures on the surface of a ball of rock, just like any other species.
they have also taught me to be more tolerant of other people and not to judge anyone because you will never know the full extent of what might be going on in a persons' life.

1. That humans are boring, arrogant, stupid animals that are no better or worse than any other animal no matter how much we like to tell ourselves that we are.

2. That probably won't ever develop some sort of existential comfort (i.e. religion, universal consciousness stuff that stems from psych use) to make me happy.

3. Fuck Caffeine.

4. Psychs helped me cull and control my anxiety issues, far more than therapy and benzos ever have.

5. Mathematics is the most beautiful thing for me.

Let go. Just let it happen. You can't do anything about it, and fighting it will only make it worse.
I used to get way too stressed about every little thing that didnt matter that much and is beyond my control. Now, I'm a lot better at just letting things happen and focusing more on what I actually have control over.
