Nah it's a one off easy, it's so hard to get i'll have no chance of being addicted lol it took me 3 weeks to score this!!!!

My late BF was a meth addict when he was 20. It fucked up his teeth which caused him to have a false tooth. It was one of the things he was most embarrassed about. It also fucked up his sinuses. He snored so badly I had to get ear plugs at night! xD

(Just a thought....a con to meth since this seems like an anti-meth thread)

right got a q I have one point left am I safe to smoke it? i've had about 1 and a half over the space of about 6 hours or so.. No chance of OD'ing right?

Right so I nipped ot the cash machine to see if i've been paid yet all is good, on my way home some guy walks up to me and he has a big black bin bag, i taker me headphones out and he says. 'want any socks?' I was spun out to fuck then decided this could be fun,

I Inquired about the quality and price of the socks, when I couldn't understand his reply I simply said nah mate, not intersted in socks thanks. He politely says back, aww i'll just dump them then.

yeh, that's how everyone starts. they love the rush and the prolonged high... there's no going back to coke or amphetamine if you love meth.
I don't know you, but I'll guarentee this isn't the last time you use it. Meth can get to anyone... rich, poor, smart, dumb... don't fool yourself.
Just wait til you run out and start fiending for more...

Naw just went to see if I got paid, took rent money etc out ready to pay, and im out of meth btw not fiendin nothin :P

Well its almost as common as pot around here. It seems like everyone and their dog has done meth. Seriously, believe them they say it will fuck up your teeth, not to mention your face in general. Google it under images if you don't believe me. Everyone has choices, I just hope you make a educated one. :)

I believe those faces of meth are of people who are at rock bottom who are homeless and no way to wash themselves or keep clean.

Yes, meth can be a horrid substance, but i know people who use it and live normal lives. I myself do not use it, nor have i tried it, i would like to, but only to experience what the high is like.

ahhhh...the one thing I miss most about home....been livin here for 7 years now and haven't been able to find the stuff yet!!...:(

Yeah, true. But I have seen first hand people get their teeth messed up.

yeah I had some issues with that, fortunately nothing serious.

a lot of the tooth problems can be helped by remembering to Drink PLENTY OF WATER. Your mouth is dry as hell right now OP although you may not realize/care. Gotta keep that enamel wet. Also be sure to get around to brushing even though your mind is thinking of millions of other things you'd rather be doing :)

It's all about keeping yourself clean regularly. if your going to be using a dirty drug, at least be smart enough to the know of the negative potential it has and do something to combat it.

I suspect that the teeth thing has little to do with methamphetamine itself; with most meth being smoked (not injected for some reason), and the impurites left behind after hillbillies synth the shit in their outhouses- it'd be a wonder if those corrosive agents didn't damage the teeth.

I miss it. I can only find coke and the come down is so much worse for me. I also used so much less meth. Ugh... fuck let people handle their shit, if you're too stupid to be able to handle this stuff, then your fault.

Meth mouth is an informal name for advanced tooth decay attributed to heavy methamphetamine use. According to the American Dental Association, meth mouth "is probably caused by a combination of drug-induced psychological and physiological changes resulting in xerostomia (dry mouth), extended periods of poor oral hygiene, frequent consumption of high calorie, carbonated beverages and tooth grinding and clenching."[1]

Characteristics include:

xerostomia (dry mouth): Methamphetamine use may decrease the production of saliva. A lack of . saliva's natural protective effects directly leads to increased tooth decay, particularly at the gumline. Many users also smoke tobacco or consume highly sugared soft drinks, worsening the problem.
cracked teeth: Methamphetamine induces clenching and grinding of the teeth, leading to wear or cracks.
neglect of oral hygiene: This is likely among the most important causes of poor oral health among methamphetamine users. After a prolonged binge, users may sleep for a day or more with their mouths open, exacerbating the problems of poor saliva supply.
Meth mouth is "difficult to distinguish" from a simple case of poor oral hygiene.[2] Dentists are advised to look for "unaccounted for and accelerated decay in teenagers and young adults" and "malnourished appearance in heavy users, because methamphetamine acts as an appetite suppressant."[1]

Contrary to a number of media reports, meth mouth's contributing causes do not include a "corrosive", "acidic", or "caustic" effect of the drug itself on tooth enamel or gum tissue. Jack Shafer of Slate magazine has written a series of articles disputing the role of "chemical" or "contaminant" factors in causing meth mouth.
