"The" Message": Entity Contact and the Illusory Universe

I think the word alien is gonna throw people off, people are much more likely to believe in spiritual things than the extraterrestrial

All I know, is that its something not of this world. And their world is one of enlightenment, happiness, peace and harmony, something can only happen with beings of pure good energy.

The scary part is, if there are these powerful beings working for good, whos to say there arnt evil ones?

OK this is sorta fun and all, but kinda gone off the rails.

All I really wanted to talk about is this idea, that has been repeated uncountable times, WAAAY before the Matrix movies, all the way back to Gnostic Mystic Christianity and surely before that, that somehow "everything in this life is an illusion and that I already know because I have been here, and back to the 'source' and back here multiple times" concept.

WHERE does this though pattern originate, and why does it seem to keep being repeated over and over in humanity throughout history, whether the idea is coming from mysticism or drugs or near-death experiences or whatever.

What are we to make of the fact that this idea seems to keep occurring to people over and over and over, over a timespan of thousands of years, in many different cultures and contexts (but seemingly more widespread since the popularization of psychedelics)?

I have heard many things like this before. I believe "they" are pure energy, t

Then get some physicists in on harnessing that shit so we can have a wonderful source of zero-pollution power. If we channel it through crystals and sigils do you think we could get the energy to turn a dynamo?

There's an enormous amount of correlation between these experiences and the words of mystics and religions over the years

There have been plenty of mystical experiences and religions and metaphysical systems that come up with ideas completely incompatible with the ones you're espousing. What makes those wrong and this true? Would it not make more sense that these ideas are sort of obvious questions that pop up when considering the nature of reality, like willow suggested, or that these experiences are sort of archetypes built (maybe not the best word, but whatevs) into the human mind at a basic level?

it sounds like "a message" to me.
i think there is too much information in this thread for me to know where to start in engaging with it, but i think some psychedelic experiences are able to confirm to us - in some profound, knowing sense - what we already felt was true.
i once said to someone that i felt as if LSD proved to me that there was no such thing as an interventionist god. the people i was talking to said the exact opposite.

perhaps you can have your eyes opened to whole new understandings...i know that DMT has made me question my understanding of reality and the nature of things. some of the things that have happened in relation to DMT experiences have made me (a staunch atheist) question my antipathy towards supernatural understandings. maybe there is more going on here than i ever thought was possible...or maybe i'm taking mind-bending drugs that are skewing my consciousness into shapes that are difficult to comprehend in the frameworks that are available to us.

sometimes i wonder if the entities i interact with on a DMT trip are parts of my self or my own subconscious.

i'm not doubting anyone's thoughts on this, by the way - just musing.

my way of understanding is imbued with a great deal of scepticism - i'm not big on subscribing to any sort of belief system, including that which presents itself in a psychedelic epiphany.
very interesting thread, i really hope to see it take some twists and turns, as interesting as an alien circle-jerk would no doubt be...
;)

I believe the phenomenon is actually a simple function of humanity. Everyone lives this energy, because it is like Time. It is the current absolute manifestation, and it is constant. We experience the totality of existence always, because it is completely self-generative. This means that we each have our own individual world that we live in, shaped by our thoughts and experiences and associations. That's why the truth is different for everyone. Personally, I see the entities as my selves in other frames of the totality, either Prior and Next, All and None, or simply the dimensions to my Left and Right. I also believe that we are here to prove it.

These 'gods' then encourage me to come and join them 'up there where I belong'...

The real message is the next part, the part when you follow the "gods" and then you're sitting in yourself, laughing at yourself for eternity for how wonderous the realisation is. The realisation that you've been sad, happy, angry, confused.. All at yourself. The realisation that these deep answers you've been searching for? All yourself.

That pristine moment when you look into all your own eyes and realise ridiculous the idea that there ever was anything else really is.

Since we're talking about supposed "Gods" here, I'll post one of my favourite quotes from the Bible that almost every Christian misses. I'm no Christian, but anyone who's seen this "Message" will get a chuckle out of it.

30 I and the Father are one.”
31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”

33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’[a]?

tl;dr ego death :D

Oops, I thought it was included in the quote but apparently not!

My namesake is actually a park in Cambridge, UK, would it not technically be undergoing a ++++ all the time? ;)

i really like this post.

If what is going on is a re-incarnation activity till you reach the level of enlightenment that "they" have, then what they may be doing when we visit them is teach us the way to live so that we to can reach the same level they did before we die and stay in their dimension.

On my last visit there helpers in human form (the've never looked like an actual human before) were levitating on their stomachs and one by one floating over and touching my third eye. They have let me know in the past that they do have an influence in this world. The example they gave me was how Terence Mckenna was kept free from prosecution ever though it was no secret he was using illegal substances.

IMO DMT is the only psychedelic that can truly get you into their realm. The others are more indirect in their path to the other dimension. I haven't had a break through with DPT but reports claim that you can get there that way too. I would imagine DET would be similar.

Gracias spacejunk.

I think the psychedelic process can be utilized in any form, even without the aide of psychoactives.
Even just thinking a thought is technically psychedelic.
Especially when you do that waking dream meditation trick.

This thread is amazing. "The" message is deep yet simple, it can be seen from different angles, with or without psychedelics drugs, but for me (and many others, I'm sure) psychedelics played an important role of awakening.

I believe psychedelics make you talk to god(s), or to yourself, which in the end is the same thing.

Monotheistic religions often imply that talking to god is undesirable or wrong, that's why there are prophets and priests who are supposed to tell us what god thinks. And of course that's a perfect method for domination of people.

Deuteronomy 18:15-18

15 Yahweh your God will raise up to you a prophet from the midst of you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him. 16 This is according to all that you desired of Yahweh your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, "Let me not hear again the voice of Yahweh my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die."
17 Yahweh said to me, "They have well said that which they have spoken. 18 I will raise them up a prophet from among their brothers, like you; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.
[and you mob shall obey]
