Dunno why auld Trumpton had to lie about 'catching his hand on a desk' or something like that, with that bruising to his hand.
It's obviously bruising caused by a medical injection into a vein on his hand. (I had a few not too long ago, in the exact same spot, and I presume that it's a commonly used site for certain types of injections) And old people just do bruise so much more heavily and for so much longer. Especially if he's on other meds, to as he alluded to. (My bruise was tiny in comparison and cleared up completely within a couple of days IIRC. And I'm in my mid 50s.)
An injection is nothing he needs to hide, but of course his ego wont allow any admissions of potential weaknesses, as I'm sure he's the fittest, healthiest president ever in his own mind, and won't have anyone else thinking otherwise.
Not sure how to make this on topic, other than by questioning the effects on the markets if Trump was to be taken seriously ill at any point during his term, or if something even worse were to happen.
I guess it depends entirely on the competence of his deputies and stand in people, which I admit I don't know anything about.
I hope it doesn't sound too cold to speculate about such things. I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering about such things though. I'm not exactly a Trump supporter, especially in terms of many of his policies and statements and actions, but I can't deny that there is never a dull moment when Trump's around. (News stations viewing figures proved as much, with viewer numbers well down after Trump lost the previous election, and fell out of the spotlight, and I'm sure they would have risen with the run up to the most recent election, and everything Trump's been involved in since. His self-publicity abilities, and ability to dominate the news headlines all around the world, are obviously one of his key strengths. All he needs to do most of the time is to just post anything on his social media stream and the worldwide media is all over it. It's really no wonder he has such an ego.)
