I have been taking Lyrica 3 x 75mg daily for the last year . It was prescribed for pain , but i found it worked well for anxiety as well . I have recently stopped taking it due to the amount of side affects associated with it . Made my vision very blurry which was kind of scary . I know people that are on lyica and it works great for them . Good Luck !!

I was wondering the same thing . I have have been prescribed baclofen and lyrica for severe back spasms , and I found they worked not bad , but was interested in asking for soma. I am in Canada though and when I asked the pharmacist about Carisoprodol ( Soma ) she said she has never heard of it . I think technically there is a moderate interaction between carisorodol and pregablin tho ...

Na, what i meant is taking mdma without lyrica....I have just started taking lyrica so i plan to stop taking it on the day of mdma...other people have said it will work as it;'s not like an anti depressant where it affects your serotonin and you have to be off the anti depressant for weeks sometimes months to feel the effects

I tried this. For me I didn't really work, although I could try this again with more time off lyrica before taking mdma.
Most of the effects of lyrica also need some time to kick in, so it's not like your system is clean after skipping it for one day.

My kratom is just plain leaf and I'd say pretty decent quality. I'm not a daily user and I only do low amounts, one teaspoon with some weed gives me good effects. If I take it with a benzo with it I'll either take my normal dose and wait a couple hours so I can still enjoy the stimulation, if I take it at the same time as the benzo I do 1/4-1/2 teaspoon.

I'll probably have to skip the lyrica then when I take a benzo because my temazepam are 30mg capsules and my xanax is .5mg (1/4 of a bar) so it would be a bit difficult to reduce the amount.

When lyrica is mixed with benzos is it like just taking too much benzo and you'll just pass out and wonder what the fuck happened or is dangerous like mixing benzos and alcohol?

Do you make a tea of the Kratom?

I think it is individual and if you want a true high then you may have to skip more than one day. I have found that since all I want is to calm down and also get the mood stabilized then I can take 150 mg every other day and feel the same effects each time. Sometimes I do the same dose for 2 days then one day off and feel still the same. 90% of this stuff leaves the body through urine so most of it is gone by the time you take it again.

When I first started it I did 150mg x 2 every day and then 150mg x 3 every day. That makes you build tolerance. I quit and didnt do any for ten days. Then I took one by mistake actually as they look the same as a vitamine supplement I take and the same good effect was back! Very happy!

So I just noticed something. For those of you with extreme tolerance like you, you can open up your lyrica, and get a screen. You take like 1,000-2,000mg and dump it in the screen and sift it. After sifting (if a small enough screen) you will be left with a pile of larger sized crystals that are not yet powderized. I believe this to be the pure pregabalin. You can then snort this.

I'm flying on lyrica, klonopin and kava.

It's like the relaxation of weed without the fuzz.

How does kava interact with those? I am really sick of drinking when I have anxiety and I have kava I bought awhile that's just been sitting in freezer. Do you ever get sleep apnea from that combo?

I tried 50mg with a couple vapor hits and all I got was anxiety. I know this is a very low dose but I figured being a gaba drug it would keep the anxiety away.

It did work but I took a few days off cant remember how many

I've tried the combo a few times now.

50 and 100mg lyrica with .5mg lorazepam- with 50mg I didn't really feel much but with 100mg it had me feeling pretty good. I did the same amounts with 15mg temazepam and with 50mg it felt like my first time again. 100mg and I passed out about 1.5 hours into it even with 320mg caffeine.

New question: This saturday I'll be doing opiates which isn't new to me but it's the first time doing it since being prescribed lyrica. I have done some searching on the subject but want to be safe. I take 100-150mg a day and can skip a day if needed but would rather not. Would dosing 50mg in the morning be fine if I plan to take my oxy (7.5mg) and hydro (10mg) at 9:00? I'm not looking for potentiation but I don't want the drug to blunt the good feelings either which I've read a lot GABA drugs(benzos) do. I have mixed 100mg with a about 3 grams of kratom and was pleasantly surprised by how much stronger the kratom felt.

I guess you mean short term memory?

I can get euphoric and awake from Lyrica, while most people will get sleepy. I would guess that maybe it's not a nootropic for everyone. But it'll help you calm down (if you take the right dosage) and get less anxious. Fear is the mind killer, as you may have heard, so for people with problems there this could actually work.
Otherwise, I've no idea.

It seems to come on a little faster, it still takes forever though. I usually just open the capsules in my mouth so that a little dumps out on my tongue and chase it with water.

Hi people,

I'm currently on 2 x 20mg caps of Morphine Sulfate SR and 10-20mg oxy which I'm biting in half anyway. The drs don't want me on it too long so I was told at first I'd most likely go on methodone but today the pain specialist said I'd go on Lyrica. I love what oxy does but I feel I need 5mg more each day to get same effects as the day before and I find even with crushing the morphine it doesn't do shit for me.

What's the best start dose of Lyrica considering I'll be taking the other drugs at the same time? I want to feel nice and cosy again, last time I felt like that was with IM injected morphine.
