A very frustrating/disappointing breakfast of a quarter of a cooked waffle (all that could be scrapped off the maker), some blueberry jam, and some of the raw batter (it can't be cooked--why let it go to waste? 8()

Drank my daily dosage of coffee (around 24 oz) and ate three eggs scrambled. Just now, I drank a little water and took a Vitamin E supplement.

Oat grouts and chickpeas with capers. Oat grouts are a hell of a lot more tasty when undercooked and eaten like rice. :D

Soon to have two frozen bananas blended into "ice cream" wiiiith I dunno what as a topping. :P (Whaaaat? ;))

the same snack i have every work day after lunch:
3 raw carrots and one hard boiled egg

heavenly.

I haven't posted here in forever, but I absolutely must share the divinely scrumptious salad I just fixed & devoured.

- as much fresh arugula as you can palm in one hand
- one phat tomato, sliced & diced (or alternatively a few cherry tomatoes)
- handful of toasted pine nuts
- drizzle in vinaigrette & a dash of sea salt, toss until evenly coated
- garnish with cracked black pepper and grated parmesan

Maybe I was just in the mood for a good salad, but I totally foodgasm'd with every bite.

that sounds really good. I love pine nuts but they are so damn expensive that they are a luxury at this point
