'08 vintage... I'm being a good boy now, only allowed to get drunk once a week!
 
Last had almost an entire bag of blue corn chips. Opened a can of tomatoes to have with 'em and all I tasted was tin, yuck. Also had some popcorn that somehow didn't pop right. Either I lost the knack for popping popcorn, or storing it in the fridge really does make all the difference. :P

Dunno when I'm going to get breakfast today... Haven't had a day like this in years. I'm normally ravenous upon waking.
 
Not to be a nudge, but you are popping a couple kernels in oil on high, adding the rest, and cranking down the heat to low med. until there's two seconds between pops, right? Works for me .99 of the time (the other .01 I get mostly burnt kernels and have start over). I never thought to store pc in the fridge. Quid pro quo for your support help?
 
^ Yup, that sounds like what I'm doing, but thanks! :) The last bag of popcorn I had said to store the popcorn in the fridge if having issues with unpopped kernels--Seems to also make the popcorn have a bit more moisture, to store it in the fridge.

..Still haven't eaten anything. Debating what I want or if I should fast... Though I have perishables in the fridge... :-/
 
when I make stove-top pop-corn I crank the heat to medium high in a large pan drenched in oil, one kernel inside until it pops, then add your corn, cover (leave at medium high heat), and shake to evenly cover the kernels in oil. Keep shaking once the corn starts to pop, then lower the heat once you get closer to the finish, to avoid burning. Always comes out nicely...

Anyway, I had three eggs scrambled, with a mild Italian sausage and a cup of coffee.


eating a high protein, only slow-carb diet, I've lost 5.5 pounds in the last three days...
 
Ended up having some scallions, barley, brown Basmati rice, and three-quarters of a black bean burger (that had been dropped in the sink and then rinsed off and refrozen. How the heck it made it to the sink to fall, I have no idea. Why do I have to live with such an inept person? :!)
 
Cup of coffee (8 oz). Trying to cut down on my intake of caffeine at the moment. Feel like it's going well but I won't really know until I don't have coffee for three days.
 
'cheat day' aka I can eat whatever the fuck I want...

had a bunch of strawberries, then some sort of fruit cake w/ some fermented fruit on top
then a cinnamon raisin bagel
+ 2 cups coffee
