Lol... deliciosa!

Reminds me of this one time, where I was in the middle of fucking nowhere doing field work in NE Greenland... It was lunchtime, we're three guys outdoors in 40 mph wind, and we break out our lunch packs. I had made sandwiches beforehand, but one of my colleagues hadn't, so he went for a mix and match approach:

Essentially, he ended up swallowing the same things as me, but he would take a bite of a garlic clove (about ½ at a time), followed by a large bite of a salami (unsliced, he would just hold the whole damn sausage and bite off it like it were a chocolate bar or something, although he didn't even peel off the protective layer), and lastly a bite of rye bread. He would mix it all in his mouth by chewing, and down the hatch it went... I laughed my ass off when I saw him eating this way. But practical and easy it was. Especially considering the inhospitable weather conditions.

I also came to think of another 'in-the-field-dish' that a buddy once told me about...

Emtpy the contents of a coctail sausage can into a thermos. Pour hot water over the sausages, and close the thermos. When in the field, break out a bowl, and in this bowl, mix the hot water from the thermos with potato mash powder, stir until mashed potato consistency is reached, and then top it off with the hot coctail sausages from the thermos... Lunch is served!
 
lunch: 2% greek yogurt mixed w/ a dollop of natural peanut butter, granola, and a tsp. of semi-sweet chocolate.

dinner: can of light tuna mixed w/ mustard & honey, eaten on lettuce leaves + red-pepper bisque + 2 slices of whole wheat.
 
breakfast: 7 eggs, half cup cheese, glass of tea, protein shake
lunch: pot roast with steamed vegitables
postworkout: protein shake
dinner: 1 lb larb (thai meat dish, homemade), 1 lb almonds, protein shake
in a few minutes: protein shake
 
@aanallein: wow... 7 eggs... dude, you should join one of those Japanese game shows and boast your egg eating skills... all i know is that i wouldn't want to mess with you and all your protein(which probably = muscle)... and definately wouldnt wanna mess with you if you are a chick takin in all this pure power food...

As for what I just ate, I come nowhere near to your calorie intake... on some occassions, I'd be happy with a banana and a glass of water to get me through the day!
 
haha 7 is a snack. the other night I had 13 and was STILL HUNGRY! 8o

Simply_Live - I've never competed but I've been weight training 5 days a week for over 4 years now. I probably should compete but life is pretty busy with work and everything and I've just finally got my diet on track in the past few months.
 
49 eggs? 10 pounds of almonds? 200 protein shakes? 8)

I had a pear, a banana, an orange, and a glass of green tea. Don't fuck with me! 8o
 
@ Simply_Live, no, I'm not sure I didn't have anything else with my food. :P

Last had black beans and brown Basmati rice cooked with a bouillon cube, with some spinach mixed in. Mmmmmmmm!--Double the "mmmm" and with oomph since lunch was a banana and plain lettuce (only foods without animal ingredients at the senior center I had clinicals at today). 8)
 
coffe, cream, sugar. before 2litres of cider, juice fast starting tomorrow. beginning with carrot juice
