~ 1 1/4 cup of whole wheat rotini topped with olive oil, sundried tomatoes and parmesan cheese. it's getting the job done

alright whats this sunbutter stuff? sounds intriguing...

some lowfat cottage cheese with cherry tomatoes in it... and salt...i have extremely low blood pressure tho so i have to salt my food a little bit to raise it, it makes it taste good ;)

Ate: 10-piece chicken nugget and baked potato from Wendy's.

Drank: Poppy tea washed down with Benzedrex juice and water.

This is even sadder considering I'm a health and fitness writer :(

I just had an amazing lunch, sliced aubergines made like a sandwich with mozzerella and parma ham with a tomato, pepper and onion sauce with extra oregano and basil and garlic. one of my favourites.

Wow, that sounds super delicious (except for the ham)! I'm memorising it right now.

The last thing I consumed was a cup of green tea with fresh ginger and lemon juice. Hm.

^ I call that a list of chemicals. Seriously though, what is all that stuff?

I last had: 4 Wheetabix, a banana, 1/4 cup (raw, unsalted) sunflower seeds, and one cup of hemp milk.

Today... I had:

- a bowl of All-bran cereal with skim milk (damn dining hall doesn't offer soy milk, thank god for my own kitchen - and my own lifestyle choices - in my flat next year, whew!)
- 250ml granadilla yogurt
- half a wholewheat roll with lettuce, tomato and cheese
- some more lettuce and tomato (the kitchen likes to call this a 'salad')
- two tablespoons of carrot salad

To drink I have had (so far):
- a cup of unsweetened black Rooibos tea
- two cups of organic blackcurrant flavoured Rooibos with ginger and lemon
- a lot of delicious spring water my boyfriend fetches for me from a freshwater spring. Woweee!

...for later I have a banana and a pear.

I choose to supplement my diet with all natural, pharmaceutical grade, food based vitamins and minerals from the company Standard Process

This gives you an idea why I take Catalyn

To grow a human it takes: 60 minerals, 16 vitamins, 12 amino acids, and 3 essential fats. I don't see a way to satisfy all these requirements by eating the nutritionally empty food from our grocery stores today.

To tackle most of those requirements I take Catalyn, Cataplex B, Biotics Multi-Mins, Optimal EFA's,and the Protein shake.

Juice Plus is a whole food supplement i take because its difficult to eat all the quality fruits and vegetables I need. And even if i do decide to eat my share they are contaminated with pesticides. The Environmental Working Group compiled a list, using 96,000 studies done by the FDA and USDA, of the worst vegetables to eat

VITANOX detoxifies the body from a lot of the nasty shit we encounter on a daily basis. have you seen the documentary The Disappearing Male ?
"The Disappearing Male takes a close and disturbing look at what many doctors and researchers now suspect are responsible for many of these problems: a class of common chemicals that are ubiquitous in our world"
Its kinda long but very interesting.

- I wish I could take better care of my health, like this, but I am really just dirt-poor. Growing my own veggies next year, though. I hope that'll make a difference!

- Haha. Have you read Roald Dahl's lovely short story called "Royal Jelly"? His grown-up literature is so sharp and so amazing!

Thank you for the information! I appreciate you getting back to me on my question and I'm glad you didn't take it as a personal jab--I didn't mean it that way at all. Once I am more awake (probably some time over the weekend), I'll peruse your links and get back to you on 'em. :)

cooked a pretty delicious meal for me and the bf tonight:

thai yellow curry with chicken, peas, and lime rice.... some naan for all the sauce :)
