The Ketamine Discussion thread

JS: Wonder what was teh dumb thing u did in Thailand was? Hopefully its not what I'm thinking of but make sure you get some tests done if it is so it can be treated in advance if need be. Hepatitis given though its easily spreadable under the right circumstances there is a very low chance you catch it from bong user VB.

These viruses are blood borne viruses and cannot survive for too long (usually a day) outside of the body so in most cases it has to be blood to blood contact or in rare cases sexually transmitted or even through body fluids / faeces. The chances of catching it from items (bong like u said) or even food is very very slim unless say the person has a cut in their mouth / bleeding, takes a rip through a bong and you touch it with an open wound. Most of the times hep users tend not to mention anything about which is sometimes fair enough if they follow the sterile procedures and do not intentionally contaminate the surrounding area.

Just for the record, Hepatitis C can survive for a long time outside of the body. I've never shared a syringe with anyone other than my partner, and her not with anyone but me, and I still managed to contract Hep C.

That's good news. One person who always made us aware told us that Hep C was transferable by saliva. I'd been under that impression up until now.

That is correct, to be more precise its between 16h to 4 days at room temperature. Now we also have to take into consideration what medium the virus is in, whether it is present in a blood spillage or just transferred to a surface as the survival time really depends on the the medium. From what i have researched about it most people who contract the virus do not even know how they obtained it.

Its enough to touch blood infected with it with an open wound, blood drops somehow falling into the eye or even brushing teeth while it is bleeding that comes in contact with it, there are many many ways although others like IV is classified as very high risk so please people make sure you have your new fit pack on you all the time and never share needles.

Verybuffed: The risk from saliva is quite low, very very low to be frank. If ingested the stomach acids will definitely destroy the virus but again if it does not come in contact with blood it just wont happen.

what happens in pattaya stays in pattaya ;) besides STD's and regretful tattoos :p (when your on xanax valium and vodka every fuckin day tiz not a good time to decide on a tattoo :p) getting a test in the next week or 2 just to put my mind at ease,sure im fine but i dont wanna spread anything :) sorry for off topic post
 
Cool story tho bro :) Watched a show recently on Thailand, called 'departures' looks pretty fun over there but pretty hectic as well...

Since this is the start of a new page (6), i havent got time atm to go back and read into the thread more, but is ketamine used a fair bit over there recreationally in Thailand? (to keep on topic a bit lol)..
 
haha from what i've been told Ket is unheard of over there.....lots of "speed" yaba and pot tho.would of loved some ketamine over there.no LSD either.it would be out of this world tripping in the jungles of thailand :p

Yeah, I think i've seen those shows, or show(?) a while ago, about the British tourist police in Thailand, pretty good watch from what I recall, I knew about the yaba (pills arent they mostly?) but didn't know about not much lsd there, or ket, I wonder if they get magic mushrooms then?

Only cos when i used to goto Bali many moons ago (4 or 5 times) i had shrooms there a few times, at first legally in coffee shops or bars, and i tripped the hardest i've ever tripped, off a mushroom milk shake (the midnight oil bar rings a bell in my old vague memories) and cruising around the place off our head on motorbikes (dumb i know) was pretty insane, I actually fell over on my bike as i pulled up to a kerb with my mate after we had them 1/2 to an hour prior on our way back to our hotel, we went back to our hotel and drooled over some ice cubes for a few hours whilst we watched the curtain blinds move and make faces in our room for a few hours (most insane visuals i've ever experienced, way more so than the old robots, purple ohms, strawberries etc) with our room door locked as we were so wasted we couldn't face anyone. Strongest, most intense trip i have ever had. Nearly too much actually, we were probably close to losing the plot.

I'm pretty sure it was legal back then, i might be wrong tho, maybe the midnight oil bar did those shakes on the sly, i'm not sure, it felt legal tho the way they sold them in a shop/bar like that lol.. They didn't tell us we should have had a half a shake on our first time, till after we had had a whole shake each, they were all laughing at us in the bar and i went up and asked why, and he told me then - Your first time on mushrooms? i said yeah why, and he laughed and said you should have had a half shake each for first time, very strong, i was like wtf, you're telling me this now? Arghhh fun times.
 
finally getting my hands on some fine k very soon after being on the hunt for a long time. it's finally fallen into place and into my lap without any foreseen problems! =D

will be taking nasally the first go round. they're dried crystals so there's more than a little chance it's been cut so i won't be IM'ing, though, may consider it with a micron filter on hand.

how effective, if at all, is rectal administration?
 
rectal administration requires alot more ketamine than up the nose (u need about the same as a oral dose),imo IM is the best way to have it but up the nose is still pretty fun.i pefer snorting when im with friends :) good luck with ya K n rember to take it slow n work ur way up.what i do is tip like 200mg out and snort 30-50mg lines til i cant hop up to snort more n then im in the "K hole"
 
yeah, i'll only be getting 3 pts, maybe a half g to play around with. just want to have a funky night and experience a few new drugs while i've got the hookup and before it dries up.

dmt, acid and k are getting quite popular in my town at the moment which is absolutely fine with me:D

i've never done it, but

The desired dosage can be put in the syringe, inserted (using lubricant) and injected. Rectal use is similar to oral in that it has a lower peak, but longer duration.

according to erowid. dosage is similar to oral, seems not worth the undignity of shoving a syringe up your butt, especially as the dosage is higher than sniffing or IM/IV.

i'd never IM ketamine unless i got some sealed pharm vials. i'd IV powder, not the best idea in terms of harm reduction, but feels better (to me) than letting a load of cut sit in your muscles, oddly i don't have a mental problem with injecting a load of cut in regards to heroin, but that's addiction for ya. never IV'd K, but have with methoxetamine and was enough time to remove the syringe etc before holing. getting some K this week and planning to IV it, will see if i hole before taking out the needle and getting comfortable.
 
i've also iv'd mxe and it was a little too intense reflecting back.

i have no plans on IV'ing the ketamine. if i were getting vials it would be IM, hence sticking to nasal. thanks for dragging up that info. i know it could have taken me a minute but i was high:P

there's no indignity in shoving a syringe up your ass, it's just another viable ROA with specific drugs.
 
i find it indignant. there's poo there man! you're lying there with your ass in the air! not exactly a social ROA, unless you're in some kind of sex club. plus it never works for me as i'm always constipated.

once, when i'd agreed to stop IVing drugs, my dad (currently live with him) found a 5ml syringe i'd used for plugging, and told him that's what it was for

"*shakes head* you really have no limits..."

i rekon just snort it if its ur first time and your gettin such a small ammount.tip out like 2 points and take 30-50mg lines each 15 mins until ur unable to get up to do more.

TEAM PLUG FOR LIFE :P

cheers. is about what i was expecting to hear, just needed a little reassurance. though, now i'm not 100% sure whether it'll happen or not...am keeping options open at the moment.

i don't need to have a psych meltdown while i've just started a new job and having my opiate addiction under control.
