Yeah as spacejunk said they did, sold as 'ecstasy'.

Pretty stupid idea seeing the big difference in oral vs. nasal ketamine doses...someone might mistake a low oral dose of ketamine for MDMA if they aren't experienced with it, but the same dose snorted could easily k-hole you.

Prices for ecstasy tablets were significantly higher back then, maybe they're too cheap these days for K to be used as an adulterant *shrug*
 
^ yes! i had 2 of these pills; ate a whole one at a party and was nicely fucked up, snorted half of the other one a little while later and was off the planet! crazy.

as for the fabulous furry freak brothers, i love that shit! robert crumb is amazing too. counter-culture comic books are the only kind i've ever had much interest in : )

haha! Yeah 2004-05 was a crazy year if I'm remembering correctly. Pretty sure everyone was gurning off their heads too hard to catch that one.

LOL. I know. kind of ironic considering that some people did die off the original pink mitsubishis back in 2004. Turns out they were just a massive dose of MDMA. Haha. I just remembered on my birthday, going to a club, and the only dude I could find selling pills was selling pink mitsubishis (I presume the strong, pure ones of 2004). ended up declining because I was worried. couldnt find any other pills, sadly. Oh well live and let learn.

Oh and cheers to the person who put the youtube link up for the ketamine documentary. cant say I think much of the Drugs Inc documentaries. they are too biased. the hallucinogens doco was the worst. they didnt even interview a recreational user.

Funny you should mention that psytaco! Everyone was frightened at the mere mention of those at schoolies '04 (my year)...me and a few good friends knew that they were really just high dose MDMA with a tiny bit of caffeine and proceeded to munch them at a hugely discounted price :) wish I had put some away...if I did I would share them with all my bluelight friends(this means you). Best birthday ever that year.

Watched that ketamine documentary and didn't think it looked at enough K users...still learnt some interesting bits and pieces. Still keen to give ketamine a go one day.

Sorry for offtopic bits. I'm hopeless at resisting the nostalgia.
 
I finished watching that ketamine documentary last night also, have to admit it did show the dark side of k abuse, never thought some people would abuse it that bad. Pretty dangerous shit when used at those high doses constantly. Personally I never liked ketamine, actually its my least fav substance to date. Always gave me this empty, cold, drunk and weird feeling. Similar feeling when u do a bit too much DXM.

I hope there is something that can help, sounds horrible for him, you and anyone else close to him, must be hell, get some help for him if he hasn't got it. GP, Specialist or whatever it takes. There must be something that can be prescribed, i think a family member of mine got xanax for depression, fuck it made them weird and need it all the time tho, i guess its fucking addictive.

I've only tried it twice even though I have access to it for over a year.

The first time was after a few drinks and I snorted .05 grams which gave me a drunk and wonky feeling. The mountains in the snowboarding video we watched seemed to fill up the whole room.

The second time I snorted .1 gram which lead to not being able to walk, the couch I was sitting on seemd to be made from rocks and I couldn't get comfortable. It always seemed like I was supposed to be doing something but not knowing what. I couldn't sit still and didn't enjoy it.

In my circle of friends (most of them) would not touch it if offered and consider it somewhat of a dirty/fiend drug.

I have talked to other friends about K and how available it was 5 to 10 years ago and they said it was only a tenth of the price it goes for thee days!!
Wish I had access to cheap K.
 
K is great, you just gotta hole or it's pointless. Every one that doesn't enjoy it is dosing too low. My rule with K is if you can still line up and snort more K you haven't had enough yet.
 
So 1 gram a day will damage 20% of people's kidney/gastrointestinal, 5+grams a day will cause immediate damage to the kidney/gastrointestinal.
That doco really made me less want to do K, that guy really did look like he was in heaven though, the only bit which interests me is the psychedelic part.

I swear ketamine is an invisible drug here in oz, really gotta be lucky and know the right people.
 
Apparently, there's some trial taking place in Texas or some U.S.A. state for the treatment of severe, drug resistant depression and I.V. infusions of Ketamine are said to alleviate all symptoms.

I read it in MX, ya know, those stupid newspapers handed out in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane to commuters of public transport.

Should be available on the PBS in the next 20 - 30 years, hoping that common sense prevails, we get a better run government, people like Obama are still in the White House...etc. etc.

Tried to hole on Friday night and got stuck in an uncomfortable limbo state.
Started with a few beers and a few bumps. Then lined up 80mg which only made my sinuses completely blocked. It barely affected me apart from makinging my sedated and frustratingly but affected enough but couldn't snort anymore because my nose was blocked.
it was been sitting in a saddy for almost a year and the consistency was a bit gluggy. Should have mixed with some glucose.

danng sounds like dodge gear...dude i find best way to K hole is measure out 125-150mg split into 2 lines rack them,wait 15 mins if u feel the (or are still able to get up) go and snort another 50mg keep doing this each 15 mins until your not able to get up :p
 
^^ When I got it it looked real nice - like brown sugar crystals, only clear.
Now a year later I think water from the air has gotten to it and degraded it.
100mg a year ago had me unable to walk......

brown sugar?Shouldnt K be white like coke? like all the K i've seen on tv ect has been white n the stuff im getting (only 1 G left :( ) is white just like coke but glassy kinda shards in there....HERES a pic
