I'm not anti-semetic in anyway, and I believe the holocaust happened, But i got some questions maybe someone could answer.
In my years of schooling, from like 4th grade to junior year in highschool we learn of the holocaust and how terrible it was. They say that eleven million people were killed during it. Six million of those people were jewish. Now from all I've learned in school and everything we've discussed how they put people in labor camps based on if they were jewish, homesexual, different political beliefs, disability( illness, mental, physical) and all that good shit. Now when we hear of survivor stories, they are ALL jewish. I have never ever in my life witnessed in the american education system survivor stories that weren't jews. We rarely talked bout the other FIVE MILLION PEOPLE that were killed. Are they not important?
Were jewish people the ONLY ones that survived?
Now as i stated above, I'm not some prejudice asshat, but more the less interested in what happened to these other people. It just strikes me as odd. We talked about it in class today and know one really had ever thought about it. We also discussed that in some small town in Germany, the only documentation of the holocaust exists, but Germany apparently won't release it or something?
I just want to hear some opinions and stuff i guess.
